If you didn't notice in almost 100 posts we are talking about online p oker
primitivo's question was plain and simple "Name one good russian poker player?" I answered it. Even if we are talking about about online poker only, then still half of those I mentioned are very successful online players. Demidov and Lykov are Pokerstars Pros.
Posted by Arty182925: ... I saw list from uno1Bomber about bad players. 0 is for Spain, I never saw Spain player lol ..
In 2006, the Spanish government banned online gambling. Thanks God. But you can play with them at several unpopular poker sites.
How then Rafael Nadal is in p okerstars sportstars
Stars doesnt care about banning in countries
I think I read once last year that Nadal played at stars in Spanish tourney. I guess they arent banned after all
They have their own restricted and regulated by government. po k erstars . es Only for Spaniards Also p o ker stars offers special conditions for some players.

There is truth to what you say Phisix...! The best results I've ever gotten playing The BrM tourneys on PokerStars is when I played TOTALLY wreckless just like those assholes...
9 2 off.....reraise every hand or shove
J 3 off.....reraise every hand or shove
A rag......shove
....and so on.....etc....
You play a good game,...and you sit there for 2 f'ing hours only to lose at the bubble....repeatedly....
You play like a f'ing moron,....and you make the final tables, and into the money on the leaderboards.....
It just all goes TOTALLY against your better sense...
Like what, so just Russian. On your all our people to go and bears play the balalaika. Everyone has their own style of play, and whining that he went without making a winner - are to blame!
I am talking about the top players like Sam Tricket, Victor Blom, Negraneau, Ivey, Moorman, Siedel, Helmouth, Eastgate, Mizrachi, Selbst, Mercier, Haxton, Elky, Esfandiari...etc
None are Russian.
------------ I didn't start this thread and i don't hate Russians or Eastern Europeans i have no real contact with them except online poker and them begging outside tube stations but i do understand why someone started this thread.
As i said in my earlier post i find it annoying when they suck out but over time their bad play is exploitable so why would you hate them.

Funny thing that you've heard about Peter Eastgate (who won the WSOP Main Event) but you haven't heard about Demidov (who was his runner-up). This is called selective memory.

Source: All Time Money List Top 259,453 I can't give the direct link because it is against BRM rules but you'll find it. Especially as it is a British rating.
So, what makes you put Moorman on the list of the greatest and not Demidov?
I fear that our discussion will stray to an argument about which country has got better players. And I don't want this as I only wanted to answer your question: Name one good russian poker player? I believe I named more than one.
In Russian there is a saying: Bad dancer eggs dance don't give Giving to Russian players money , think about your style of play and your eggs ------------------------------ The theme for itself closed, the results of the leaderboard will show who is stronger

You said that right. Everyone has their own style of play, and for russian that style is all in or calling/raising every cards (even junk one).
At Primitivo. Where is Vanessa Rousso on list. I know you said etcc. but how you can forgot about her lol....

You'd wish that it is only russians that have the specific style of all in play. You can find such players all over the planet. And dont forget that the majority if not all the nagging about this kind of play, is for freerolls with thousands with participants

I didn't see Yevgeniy Timoshenko mentioned up there... He's knocked off over $2,000,000.00 in winnings...
His style and demeanor has evolved over the years... He used to sit at the tables and talk and talk and talk and talk. Now he's a lot more quiet, tighter, and calculating player. I was watching him play in a tourney on TV a few weeks ago. He certainly has matured as a poker player...!

What you have done here is use live tournament cashes, what this fails to recognise is that Moorman rarely plays live but is up $10,000,000 online and Viktor Blom whilst being the best player on the planet doesn't make the top 200 nor does Dwan, there are going to be exceptions like Demidov but statistically Russia per capita has very few good players and this is borne out anecdotally hence this thread which again i did not start.
