Lock Poker owes the Revolution Network a large sum of money. Lock left the network last week to re-launch independently; however, in the wake of the departure, Revolution's owners told that the company is now looking "to recover all monies owed and damages caused". According to the statement, Revolution "tried very hard to help Lock work through its problems", but after growing debts the network finally "issued an official final demand notice in October".

I actually i remember even some bankrollmob players had problems with cashouts from lock poker so i guess the revolution announcement has some truth behind it...
Now we could only hope for the good of players of lock that they'll get their money back.

With all these statements and "news" lately, someone dont know what do believe here. The only certain thing is that they make all players in all sites included feeling uncomfortable about the security of their bankrolls.

Just ANOTHER reason to stay away from them little flim-flam poker sites...!!! Everybody's trying to break in and grab a piece of the poker pie money,...but wind up going broke and unfortunately burning folks for their money.
Any site really can go broke at any time,...but at least with the bigger and more successfull sites like PokerStars, PartyPoker, Full Tilt etc...you can feel a little safer...

Exactly!
Who the hell plays on these sites that nobody has ever played on or would want to play on?? I don't deposit my money on any sites without at least scouting them out a bit and that is also why PS and the big sites have succeeded so much as they are reputable, and that means a tonne in this poker business.

Players from Europe have a lot of other rooms to play at, but the guys from the land of the free are very limited in their options. There are no big sites/networks open to them any more.

Some sites from the revolution network that were accepting players from US changed their policy in the way. Not all of them are open to US. Now if you play to a small site from revolution accepting US you are asking for trouble one way or another

3-4 days ago , I started the Lock Poker software , and there was an update to be downloaded and instaled. Ok software download it and install new software lock poker was removed and installed new Pure Poker. Then i must to go to Lock.com to download Lock Poker 2.0 what a bad instalation.

Pure Poker hijacked the update option on the Lock Poker client so that they could get players away from Lock.
So it was not a bad installation, it was deviousness by Pure.
Incidentally I think that the place to download Lock 2.0 is lockpoker.eu NOT lock.com. Not sure if lock.com will work but the .eu definitely will.
However, as others have said, it is not a good idea to play on Lock when you have a ton of reputable sites to play on. Maybe in a year or two when there is evidence that pay out to players fully and on time, it might be worth it. Do not be drawn in by the large prizes in their freerolls, chances are you won't be able to get your money out even if you do win some.

I have no experience with payouts at Lock Poker, but it sounds not verry seriously if some Players tell about this. The new Network Looks verry nice but with payout Problems they have no future...
