It's now possible to donate mob points (money) for the typhoon disaster victims in the Philippines! Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) was one of the strongest storms ever recorded and it has caused widespread destruction in the Philippines. According to BBC NEWS' latest reports, the official death toll stands at more than 2,300, but local officials and aid workers say it could rise much higher.

I donated all my Mob Points: 1700=$17. If I win more Mob Points from the Calendar or if I crack the Mob Safe, I will donate everything if I win, as well.
That's a nice thing BRM is doing here as apart from PS I don't know how I can donate for these victims... just made a 200 Mob Points donation which I won in Mob Calendar recently... hope we'll reach something big to help them

It is a mighty fine and honourable thing for BankrollMob to consider the plight of the Philippino people and set up this system for donations!
I have donated money through PokerStars and my local Red Cross. I have nearly enough points for a Mob Points Cashout and would like to complete that,...after which I will dontate Mob Points to the cause!

Best thread for awhile!!! Very good cause, just started working with some Philippino guy and he's doing a fund raising comedy event, so I guess this is something I'm thinking of now.

Honestly I'm emotionally touched of this cause. My relatives in that region is one of the beneficiaries of this charity. Most people there were back to zero. Went there myself after the typhoon. I live in the northern part of the country not affected by the super typhoon. Each Filipinos is doing what they can do too. Your's truly is a volunteer of the Phil Red cross by schedule. Our country is one of the poorest but most people are strong in spirit, loving and friendly. As you can see, even they're in deep sufferings, they still have smile on their faces. Not ashamed to tell the world they need help.. Again in behalf of my relatives and other countrymen, Thank you so much!! Days will come, we can do the same too to your countries even we're in the 3rd world. God Bless and more power to BankrollMob.

The official nationwide death toll from the typhoon had increased to 2,360 by Friday morning. Other reports suggested the toll could be far higher, with thousands feared dead in Tacloban alone...
