Depends whether you play cash or sng/mtt, for sng/mtt early stage i play it safe, not risking too many chips, at late stage i play it hard, many times not afraid to go busto with JJ, deep or bust for me.
Btw i luv JJ, not scary for me, also TT, 99, no problem, you need to have some experience to play these cards.

These are all important factors.
Yup - and we'd need to know exactly how the action played out, what positions people bet/raised/called from and any information on the other players in the hand (loose, tight, etc) is handy.
But there's no way anyone can give you a *meaningful* answer without at the very least proving the information zeroster mentioned.

raise if somebody go all in pay , floop playng if u have J on floop try to get as more chips as u can then dont make a bid more than 1/3 of the floop that it , practice and more practice it is
