It's seems like there was a very interesting high-stakes game running in Las Vegas in the past weekend. Los Angeles-based multimillionaire and poker player Dan Bilzerian, who's best known for his wild lifestyle and parties, recently claimed on twitter to have won $10.8 million in just one night playing heads-up poker.
It's not known who he played against, but he tweeted that the blinds were $5,00[...] Read more » High Stakes: Bilzerian Wins $10.8M in Vegas!

Do you people really think the guy who lost 10 mil really wants his name out there? And if you won 10 mil off a guy why the **** would you out his name? I assume he would want to play him again and if you out him publicly he probably would not appreciate it.
He's probably lying. Where was this game ran? Who lost 10 mil?
Playing for huge amounts like this, I guess it makes sense to do it privately. I've always wondered how playing on TV affects your play since you know people will analyze it. Anyways, 10 millions might seem like a lot to us, but for some people, it's really pocket change... There's people that are so rich they could feed a whole country for years.

Certainly is a lot of money, however obv whoever he played against is likely a billlionaire like himself. TBH never heard of the guy before, but also look at it this way he only won 1080BB which in headsup certainly very easy to have a 10+bi hotstreak in a session.
I don't know what he is like to play poker or not but given its a headsup match and he boasted like this about it the opponent may not bother to play him again anyway. And will he twitter when he does have another match and looses 20million I wonder?

He is certainly not lying. He even has a photo of the $10.8 mill pending wire transfer on his Instagram. He's just a big attention whore that is only rich because of his dad. He's obviously trying to be some poker icon acting like poker supports his lifestyle.
But then again, I really do like his lifestyle. Not hating

Hahha he is a millionaire and he wins in poker , no big deal, he can afford to lose money since he has a rich day. I ot more respect for those that wins big with money and has something to lose.
Anyway would have like his lifestyle too, but sadly I was not born with a rich dad.

^haha that exactly. What a douche-receptacle, looking to lap up some attention as some sort of poker god, clearly he will have played some other rich idiot and now acting like he's Esfandiari or soemthing. Some of these rich banker types, hedge fund managers etc etc could even care if they lose a sum like that, which is sad. Crazy days.

'KTPOKP' topped yesterday's high stakes leaderboard despite banking a relatively modest $60,683. On a day where six-figure profits were scarce, 'KTPOKP' was able to edge ahead of some recognisable grinders, including: Alexander 'Kanu7' Millar ($51,242) and 'OtB_RedBaron' ($49,484).

Okay, I admit, he won the 10 million off of me. It was a bad day where he was always cracking my pocket aces with junk, and I got carried away. Anyways, you'll see me a lot more of me on this forum for a while now as I post for points that I can cash out and repay my debts, 50 cents a day. You might even see me copy/pasting irrelevant blibber blabber like my pal Sorin.
Yes, it is 10 million dollars, but it is also only 10 (100BB) buyins on that stake. If the guy who has lost has a proper bankroll management it shouldn´t hurt him that much.
P.S.: I have never heard anything about this "poker player" Bilzerian before.

Wow, over 10 millions in a hu game was really unbelievable, but i think if two donks with enough money play against the other, one of them was the hero In a highroller game with poker pro´s they have no Chance tongtime without poker skills.
