If he wins he will be up 48BI so that's pretty great. Altough the turbo structure along with the cheap buy-in causes high variance and I would say the prices are very topheavy. I believe 18-27th place all get the same (mincash) prize.

1st place was worth $24.47

Posted by Phisix: Take your time now and wait for great hands since you have more than enough chips. Good luck mate. Whats the top prizes like?
I'd argue doing the opposite of this. With such a steep structure you must play to accumulate chips and take every marginal opportunity to do so. Once you're down to 8 players every hand is a bubble hand until the tournament is done.
Punish limpers and reshove over those you think will be shoving light.

Congrats man!
I'm happy to see that you have almost won a MTT and increased your bankroll. May be you should focus on MTT more than cash, but I dont know that you enjoy the most. May be you like mixing both modalities as I do.

G'day mate
Well to be honest I prefer to play cash games. do enjoy play Mtt's as well. The problem is my health is such that right now I simply can not be certain I will have the need endurance to finish a long drawn out game like often happens during an Mtt. be cool
