So whats you current bankroll for 2014 now erru? I assume you did not played as much as you want these christmas days.

And one more question what do you want to play in 2014, i presume sng since for cash i do not think you'll manage to get a decent BR.

At the moment it's only $15 and a few free entries to some MTT's.

I actually haven't decided yet. I'm a winning cashgames player but I like MTT's and SnG's much better. I just think it's more fun. I guess my plan is to play mainly MTT's and SnG's and I might play some cash every now and again just to boost my bankroll a little bit. I think I will focus mostly on SnG's actually now that I think about it. I don't have a lot of time off work so I probably won't be able to play that many MTT's.

I actually have tonight off work and as I was writing this post, I decided to deposit $15 and play some $0,10 SnG's just to get going. $10 is minimum withdrawal so if I'm down to $10,09 or less, I'll withdraw it all. That's unlikely but hey, rather play it safe. I will withdraw everything I have when I'm done so no winnings will count towards the 2014 bankroll.

------------
Well, I only played 8 Tongue Didn't have as much time as I thought I would. Managed to make a $0,43 profit. So basically 4,3 buy-ins by playing 8 games, that's a good ROI I think Tongue Still a very low amount of games so I can't make any conclusions on what my ROI will be but it looks promising Blink

In my opinion that was quite a bad idea from you. Why would you like to start everything again when you have already had a nice comfortable bankroll? Even if you only had left 100$ on your account, you could make better money than starting with nothing...

where are u playing 0,10 sngs. and what are prizes for that thing? 20 cents for winning it? Big Smile

could take a while to boost ur bankroll that way though, heh

And $15 from 0 is still quite decent mind you, now if you could double that up ud have a fairly safe br for those micro sngs, and considering u started with nothing... either way gl with your 'quest', i tried playing some brm freerolls on ftp (like 5,6 so far) and while i cashed in a few of them, they drive me nuts Big Smile people shoving with pretty much anything all the time, it takes lots of selfontrol not to go tilt there really Big Smile

Well, since this is the first year that I'm gonna try out a few things (have a couple of ideas that I will take up in my 2014 blog) I would like to start the year with a bankroll that I've made for free, it will be less pressure on me if it doesn't seem to work out. Also, any money that I do have in my account at the end of the year is pure profit!

I play them on Party Poker. 6max tables, 2nd place pays 0,21 and 1st place pays 0,33. I know that they won't boost my bankroll, that's why I said in my post that I will withdraw everything that I deposited when I was done. It was just a small sample of games to get me going at those SnG's again. When I finally get to start playing "for real" I sure as h*ll won't need to have 150 buy-ins for any limit of SnG's in order to play them. I think that 50 is plenty enough. So my $15 bankroll so far will let me play $0,20 snG's as the next step is $0,50 where I would need a $25 bankroll.

Just cashed $2,50 in another freeroll. Completely facked up way to lose. That donk kept shoving every single hand no matter what it was, I called with QQ, he sucked out on me with 82 so I was down to just one BB, I managed to get lucky and climb back up. When I was at 8 BB he shoved again, this time I was AA and I call. He flips over 88, flop is 8J3 of clubs, I have A of clubs. Turn is another club which gives me a flush, river is a J and I'm out. The moron hit a full house. The thing that buggs me the most is that he's been playing that way the entire tournament and he's still in it, lucky donk.

Oh well, another $2,50 added to my starting bankroll for 2014. Total starting bankroll is now up to $17,50.

not bad, considering u got there from zero, and its not yet 2014 either is it Smile either way you almost got $20 already, which is a decent br, plus you can always play more freerolls once/if you go busto with ur current br

now when i think of it, maybe i could do that too, or at least try to :=) god knows i suck at freerolls and only way to stop myself from going tilt vs people like that guy you described above is - i have to play some other mtts at the same time, so i have to stay focused because of those, normal tourneys and that usually stops me going tilt.

But then again, there were some ftp freerolls i played where every single hand at least 2 people would shove with just about any hand really, it was that bad that i just closed ftp, didnt even try going all in (and somehow ended itm lol, for a few cents Big Smile).

gl with whats left of this year calendar, hope you snatch a few $ here and there before start of 2014 Tongue

I am on approx. $800 profit from FR's and NDB this year, starting from zero in feb so it is total doable.

Starting with £100 (or maybe £150) this year, aiming for £1k profit

wait how long have u been playing those freerolls though? how much time per day you gotta invest in those freerolls to actually win something? And arent fr's kind of ... retarded, skill wise so how do you keep ur cool and dont go tilt at least 8x per freeroll (like i do, lol).

as mentioned in my previous post, to play frerolls, i gotta play some real tourneys at the same time but i guess i could work on that aspect (at least maybe id get used to it after playing more freerolls, played just few ftp fr's so far) ? Tongue

god, im gonna need a shirt with +5 donk resist stat Big Smile

edit: still, it could be something of a challenge actually, to start with 0 and fight your way to some decent starting br. althro i only play on ftp and winner atm and from what i could see so far neither has some especially ... busy fr schedule Tongue

are there any other decent fr's on ftp, other than br mob one ?

well for starters I don't play s**t freerolls for $50 10k players Tongue

There are plenty of great ones out there if u hunt around, im on 28 poker sites atm, plus some casinos/betting sites. You just have to be selective

------------
best FR's are on party (I had some decent wins on the $200 BRM one whilst clearing the NDB) and 888

redbet have a few too

basically though, every site has decent ones at some point, you just need to switch around (use winnings to deposit to get more deposit bonus' etc and free tickets (when depositing, ALWAYS go to live support and ask for tourney tokens as extra)

ok i get it, looks like i should definitely make more poker accounts Tongue

was planning on opening pkr account in past few days but was a bit short on time so ill probably do it tomorrow instead. also, not sure if pkr has any decent freerolls ?

i tried looking for freerolls on ftp but other than some odd daily freerolls (where you can win tickets for... another freroll?) couldnt really find any. winner also has just 2 weekly freerolls but they usually consist of 23885 people and most of them play with 'its just a freeroll' mentality, so its basically impossible to cash in on those

unless you got some amazing selfcontrol and can endure hours of donkness, its a no go. thats why i played those freerolls only a couple of times.

might make account on 888 sometimes next month too, but i heard they have no rakeback whatsoever unless ur a super high roller (and im not any longer) but if their freerolls (and 1st deposit bonuses?) are worth it might deposit 50ish or so just to try it out.

if ftp had any better freerolls id try to follow OP's steps and cashout my ftp money and try to build my br via freerolls but i dont think thats doable on ftp Tongue
