This is a good promotion but i think that Poker Stars new Challenge Promotion is way better and easier in value
and in a way of building a decent Bank Roll with there all in shootout Free rolls GL

That's what I was hoping for, in terms of good tips...

Thanks for the tip; I was certain to miss that one (at least the start of it).

I have to agree with Marqis that the PS promotion appears a far better and less restrictive promo, though probably takes as much money from you as the PP promo in the end, but allows you to choose what level of committment you want to give to the promo.

Good luck to everyone in whatever promo they takle part.

Hello ladies and dudes- this is poker rep from Melons Poker, we have currently a fantastic promo running, it's called New Year's Revolution...you have to complete these missions in January and you will get a free 1 week vacation in the bahamas (worth $5K)

the missions:

1. win on any stakes with 26o and 49s 40 times in a row (hands must go to a showdown)
2. play 469 hands against players from Papua New Guinea, São Tomé and Príncipe, Libya and French Polynesia
3. spend $5K in our "House Always Wins" casino.

you are truly privileged to be a customer of Melons Poker, the only poker room that gives you this fantastic and easy to achieve mission.
you already have one foot in bahamas Thumbs Up

Well, I've completed the mission. It was harder than it looked, but made a profit while completing it, so that's okay...

I was stuck on the 72o and 78s hands, but got both in this morning's session.
Look at how bad I had to play these hands, in order to win them going to showdown. I would never have played this way if it wasn't for this mission. That's a bad thing, even though it worked out well...

Hi Marquis,
Congratulations for the mission =)

I have a question, if you make a open shove with A3o in a cash game, (and you get the blinds) this hand is valid ?
Thank for answer.

No, I don't think so. Only hands that go to showdown count... That's why I checked those hands all the way down, from my previous posting....

marqis, very best of luck this evening. The game looks to be brilliant value for the effort required to get in. Currently a $328 buy-in event so you've done well to qualify. Ship it!!!! Blink

Yeah, I know... Thanks!

Only 78 people registered for a $25000 prize pool. This is by far the biggest tournament I ever played.

And all this while my confidence is at a low, because of not getting ITM lately in MTTs...
Hopefully this one will make up for it... Big Smile

That seems to be a great tournament in terms of participants and prize money.
Well done winning your place in there. I hope you will do really good,
with at least a final table finish. Good luck.

Well I'm out in 51/82. I ran into the nut flush with 2 pair...
After that it was push or fold for me, almost got back to average, but was outkicked in the last hand.

Did not enjoy this... Sad

Too bad; a ticket worth $305, and I've got nothing to show for it...

Did no one else from BRM get this ticket?

The missions which want you to win with 27o are pretty retarded...
Luckily at leastsome sites have normal missions...
