LiveAce has posted a notice announcing that the site has suspended operations. LiveAce launched in August using a subscription based model that allowed it to offer online poker to US residents.

Another "creative" approach to circumvent the legislation in the US of A regarding online games hasn't worked out that well. Does anyone here remember Duplicate Poker? Their spin was different from that of LiveAce, but the result was the same.

Until the online gambling law in US won't be firm i think all sites that launched for US players will have the same outcome...

It's really hard for a site that is a business to make any predictions and a business plan if they do not operate in a clearly reglemented market Sad

Maybe this year they'll have a online gambling law.

That´s hard, closed after 4 month´ is not good news for us players. The law there verry strictly for online poker, but i read in a other thread a few days ago, that a senator plays online poker. Perhaps he is the right president for this pokerroom Big Smile

This is really disturbing to see that they have closed after only three or four months. I hope that their members get all their money back and not just a percentage of it like happens on so many other sites that have closed down. Good luck to all these people
