It is possible but not always this happens, i saw even on bigger stakes this kind of players, they bet almost half of their stack on river with air to make you fold the hand.

Without more details about him foldind is definately an okay option there. Keep us posted with your play Smile

I would have pushed all in pre-flop.

I agree with you with the fold on the river, I tend to fold almost every overbet in the river when something suspicious is going on.

Anyway is a tough decesion, especially after u hit the top two pairs, which is a pretty strong hand on a 6 handed table.

Gl next one!

Well the question is - if he is aggro donk - as you say, than he would probably bet his 2nd pair on the flop (if you believe he had an 8), specially after preflop 3bet. Thats pretty much the thing you should have an answer to.

And yes, definitly - push prefolp, you are way above his range

my mistake is check on flop and small raise on turn,if i play C--bet on flop hand is defintly be on my side
checking on turn and small bet on turn i give him chance to see river cheap and beat me with junk hand like K8o or any hand with 8,i writting before, this guy play and limp any two cards in hand

Why just call his ridiculous $0.04 raise pre-flop, just 4-bet to $0.24. Or do you feel you should get more value from your premium hand?

Why then not bet the flop? It looks like he's getting a lot of free cards, when he's in position, just by raising you $0.04 pre-flop (I bet he does this all the time)...
If he has a draw, he should be paying for it on every street...

You really don't know where you're at on the river now, he might have been drawing, but he also might have a weaker ace; a difficult decision...

Completely agree with this hand analisys.

Even better: knowing you are facing an aggrodonk I should raise 4BB preflop instead of "usual" 3BB and consequently I would suggest you to 4bet him at least 3.5x preflop.

FLOP: just don't check (make him pay to see cards): you have TPTK bet at least 66%pot even 75%pot is ok against him.

If he is still calling....well for you.

TURN brings you T2P: just shove and good game

RIVER: popcorn time here

this is what I usually do expecially at the lower stakes

I think i would have been very tempted to call here. The odds on him catching the third eight are slim so mathematically speaking i would have thought you would have to call. But when you are playing it is sometimes down to how you are feeling and not straightforward maths

After you played the way you played I would have raised on the river also.. But first of all I would have raised on pre and then raise on flop..

And I think I would have also called the river Smile
