Something about equity against AA  0
Did you know that a medium suited connector has the highest equity against aces? Suited 98-65 are the most likely to beat AA and other connectors including they are the only hands which have more than 20% equity against aces. It gets even better if neither of the 2 aces are from the same suit as the connector. In that case the equity gets quite close to 25%.

Yep. This is old news. Those hands hit completly different flops than aces or other high pairs. But of cause these are all-in equities, and who will go all in with those hands, they are a clear dog against most other holdings, too.

I quite often shove these types of hands when <10BB in MTTs, its the correct move.

im with natasha i always shove hands like that in mtt's when im short. i never ever shove raggy A's or K's because its so likely you get called by a hand like KQ A10 and such and have your K9 or A7 dominated atleast with 67,89, 910 and such you have totally live cards and just hope you have a live suit aswell.

That s one of the reasons a lot of players like to play suited connectors, especially if you can get into the pot relatively cheap. If you hit something on the flop (possible str or flushdraw) you can go for it, otherwise it s easy to fold such a hand.
If you hit with such hands it s most of the time moneytime (big profit) so it makes it worthwile to call preflop.

This is a very well known fact and i have seen aces cracked with these types of hands many times. I always like to play these sort of hands in a multi way pot because if you hit you are going to get paid big time. But i would rather have aces anyday!

But one does shove any two in this situation. That has nothing to do with the actual hand, but with the chipstack.

Actually,
pocket pairs (the middle ones have the most %) have pre flop equity against pocket aces around 20% as well.
And in situations under 10BB´s in tournaments pocket pairs are excellent shoving hands as well, because you will be rarely dominated (only by higher pairs) and you are actually a slight favorite against overcards if you get called + you can dominate some hands (ace rags...).

Try suited aces from A5s to above you have roughly 20 % equity also it all depends how you play if somebody is all in with only KK+ and AA+ you will have a hard time calling since you have a small equity.

But in tournaments it is another thing, pocket pairs are flips against AKs,AQs and other Ax..

Anyway looks like you got good answers already!

JTs isn´t the best hand against aces, because the aces are holding you outs you have to broadway straight. And the reason why are low suited connectors better than the middle ones, is, that if the aces make a straight, you will always have a higher one.

You can use a lot off software (for nothing at the poker school sites) for exactly informations. But it is nearly impossible to be a winning player at the online sites: too much rake and to much suckouts. You can play the best and correct poker at the tables, it is not enough to be a winning player without luck or a good run...

The suckouts don´t make a difference, sometimes you get sucked out, sometimes you suckout someone. (I have just won against AA with KK, yea Evil )
On the other side, the rake really high, the poker sites must be making sick profits, I think if the rake was half as big, they would still be making extremely good profits.
Still, most of the games are nicely beatable even with the rake...
