This is insane!
I play like 1 minute and lost 3 dollars
Adrenaline Rush Poker Adrenaline Rush is Rush Poker at its fastest – and it's exclusive to Full Tilt Poker.
Unlike a standard Rush Poker ring game, Adrenaline Rush games are 4-handed, you can buy in for between 5 and 10 Big Blinds and there is no post-flop betting. You can only raise or fold, except in the following circumstances: your opponent is all-in, the cap of 10 Big Blinds has been reached or you are facing a raise greater than your stack size. Always exhilarating, the action at Adrenaline Rush tables never stops.

As if online poker wasn't devoid of skill enough already they are essentially throwing poker roulette out there now. It is getting really quite ridiculous.

I really hate this.
The main argument that the pro-poker lobbyists use when trying to get legal online and live poker established is that it is a game of SKILL. Then these bozos come along with their coin flip, pure gamble poker and totally undermine the argument.

i cant agree with above.. i play sngs mostly and i find this game interesting. its like push fold with 10bb in sngs or mtts if u know pushing and calling ranges u can easily make some money here. i played 2-5c game 4 tables for 30min and made 10$ and i wasnt lucky at all, people just dont know ranges.

yep zero, its like they are sabotaging their own business... lol
no seriously, first pokerstars starts with their coinflip freerolls, now ftp added this thing (i dont get its name either, it should be named coinflip poker instead, what adrenaline rush you could do that playing normal poker with going all in, lol).
whats even worse, their current promo is play poker, to get invited into coinflip freerolls worth 15k$. apparently now its too hart to actually play poker, so main selling point of this thing is something like 'fear not now you dont have to play poker to be good at it'. or something along those lines. its sad really -.-

Yeah you're probably right in the case of adrenaline rush. But when it comes to the pure coin flip, all in every hand variant that some sites are now offering I stand by what I said.

yea i suppose ranges still matter when it comes to this rush thing (not sure if theres bb or not though?) but as zero said most sites offer lots of flip tourneys (especially satelites) and now ftp has this promo where you can get a ticket for... coinflip freerolls -.-
Of course you can beat this games, it is just like shortstacked MTT or SNG gameplay, you have adjust your pushing and calling ranges according to your opponents. It can be even more profitable, because there can be some gamblers going all in all the time. Variance will be quite high though.

People changing all the time so how can u adapt your ranges to your opponent? Of course if your lucky and see that one player is going all the time but the chance to see that player and to get on the same table and then get a decent hand is pretty small.. I played 15minutes maybe yesterday and had no reads on anyone.. Just playing the normal ranges

I saw those tables but never played since that is just a bingo game, i see the benefits of rush, especially FR but 4 handed is just bingo in my opinion...
For that matter even rush for those that only wait for big hands to go all in can also be a waste of money and time.

These tables are crazy and are for the all in merchants.I like to take my time when making decisions and these type of super turbo games are not for me. I wish everybody well in partaking in this particular venture but i wont be there!

There is a big variance in rush/zoom/speed poker, but i like it verry much. The "normal" tables are boring, but at the rush tables it is enough to play solid hands and make a lot of steal in position. But the sucks are generally unbelievable at stars & co.
Yep, my yesterday 1 hour session of zoom was +12$, ran extremely well, no coolers, my kings have even won against aces. And then today -10$, cooler after cooler (sets over sets, flushes vs higher flushes), noone is paying me for my good hands, people improving to full houses on the river. I know this is just variance , but it is pretty tilting!

Posted by Phisix: Too much variance for me which is why I will never play anything as bad as that, especially after seeing how bad I get with speed poker.
yea its like speed poker on steroids -.- so i suppose variance can be extreme.
oh well some people might like it, but im staying as far away from it as possible

Well pokerstars won't be introducing this in their room , they are using their secondary room, to test things out, remember the flipapments was first introduced on full tilt then gone on pokerstars with the daily challenge.
This new game is basically generating more rake and fish will play them and lose to the house and it will be highly variance and looks like gambling to me.

I have seent hsi advertised and marketed though I havent had the chance to go and take a look. It does sound a bit like a bingo game from the comments above but probably worth a look to decide for myself. Im not really into the speed game but have made a few quid this week on zoom at PS as part of the January mission promo, so who knows?

I saw many members are talking about normal rush/zoom/speed poker but this si even faster than that and is pretty much an all in or fold tables with just 4 players.
I do not think this variance of rush will have much succes at all. I will not play it, i would better try to play at a casino site.
