2014 PCA : Jake Schindler Defeats Greg Merson Heads Up for $1,192,624! Selbst finishes in 3rd place

On Monday, Vanessa Selbst, the winner of the 2013 PCA High Roller, had an incredible chance to defend her title as she had the chip lead with only 14 players remaining in the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller ($25,000 buy-in, 247 entries). Congratulations to Jake Schindler on winning this tournament but what a crazy way to end it. They played blind for $200,000!!! This goes to show how most poker players have no regard for money

Da,m where is Daniel, he should have at least gone to the final table and I am sad that Vanessa did not win, she had the lead prior to this anyway cheers was fun to watch the tourney unfoild!

That is insane that they did that for $200k - I tell you a seasoned pro would never agree to something like that. That's a 1/6th of their winnings and they didn't give a s**t...bizarre I can only think tat the occasion got to them and they weren't thinking straight.
after enjoying their prospective glory, they'll look back on that an think, 'I gambled blind for a house'.

That's poker. Interesting and crazy often.

Verry strong that Vanessa Selbst had the chance to win this highroller pca bahamas event the second time. And the first place for nearly 1.2 Million $ are verry nice. Really a dream to win one time this tourney or a other at the ept series. And after than to quit playing poker...

That part was for pure fun, the deal before that made sure both of them end up with almost a mil.
This happened in the EPT also not so long ago.

Congratulations to Jack for his win, i liked how he played the final hand and most of all that he waited for a decent hand to end the game Smile

Also Vanessa played good, i mean she always gets pretty good places in all the tournaments that she participate, i think that with a bit of luck she could have take this one too.
