so the stupidity continues- surely it's just a matter of time when we will see our 1st ever $1 billion tournament.
oh and it will also break all income barriers with a modest buy-in of $20M. god bless this phenomenon called poker- even random farmer from botswana can become rich in a matter of seconds Worship

Royal families, hollywood stars...
Why not the Pope himself? The vatican could easily bankroll him.

I mean dont get me wrong, but these tournaments are everything but a turn on for me. Just because the money is good doesnt mean the ones who are participating generate any sort of interest. Why would I want to see Prince Albert slow rolling Ben Affleck. I couldn't care less.

lol bowie, u nailed it there Big Smile

but then again, i heard ben affleck is a reg, so he might get a few bucks (millions) if his bankroll can support this BI. but im sure he has at least 100x BI for tourneys like these... (:

speaking of prince, that would be fun.. to watch him go tilt after a bad beat or something, lol

Give me less and i;ll be happy to use it for myself. Anyway it is also refreshing that high roller limits are getting pushed every year, should be fun to see millions swapping hands. Lots of security will need to be involve for sure!

It will be sweet if this would really come to reality, the first prize will be even bigger than the prize that Esfandiari won on that 1 million dollars buy in wsop event.

Considering that not only poker pros will take part it should definately be pretty interesting Big Smile
