P0ker Heaven has added a third network to its p0ker room. After they have started as a Boss Media room, they later added an 0ngame client and now a Microgaming client. So a player can use three networks with one account. A concept becomming more and more popular, as other rooms have it adapted too.

It gives their clients a flexibility for sure, but such moves make you wonder for the well being of the company in the first place. If they had a considerable amount of players in one network would they do something like that? Or they just try to draw as many as they can, from those not willing to change their favourite platform, in order to try a new poker site.

no mober i think its more like... iPoker merging with pokerstars or 888 doesnt necessarily mean their company is having problems In fact if they were having problems it would make more sense to sell poker rooms/network instead of buying another one, no?

The merge is a totally different thing than getting a new license to operate in another network. Thats what they are doing, arent they? You get a license to operate, which if you are not planning to sell the whole poker site of yours, i doubt it can be transferred.

The only problem being that every network skin they are using is awful..

There is a reason why those three are only in the second tier of networks. Boss Media has always been smallish, but 0ngame and Microgaming have declined over the past few years. Looks like other rooms/networks offer a better gaming experience.

From the big networks besides Full Tilt poker which i like the most and believe it is the most complete software, i liked most the iPoker and then Microgaming. Cake poker isnt a bad one also, but their new version is a bit heavy for slow computers.

When I set up a new poker software I usually begin with disabling all the animations. All of them. It messes a lot unnecessarily with GPU and memory and frankly it doesnt add anything worthy to my game experience, especially if Im playing on more than two tables. Then I go trim the look of the table (if its a kind of software where u can mess with table appearance) optioning mostly for the cleanest, minimal design, with colors to go easy on my eyes (I hate with passion those standard green texture tables). Etc.
But if you using HUD that could slow sometimes down the computer, because they are not equally interfering with all the softwares smoothly, even if its a room that allow you to use it (on paper) they might not took all the necessary step in to troubleshoot their softwares coding - at that could be huge issue too.
On my desktop Microgaming and PS/FLT run the most smoothly.
