U.S. poker‬ players who filed a remissions claim with the DOJ are finally going to get their money. The DOJ has completed their audit and cleared the claims administrator to begin making payments. Nearly 30,000 players will receive $82 million that was being held. There is no further news on professionals and affiliates being paid

I am happy to read about this and i hope the players who have money with them receive every penny back. These players have waited long enough for their money and they should receive 100% of their money back and not just a fraction

WOW! Can you believe that it has taken this long for the US to sort this out? In most ther places FTP simply reimbursed the money that was owed to registered players... In my case all I had to do was resign into the new FTP and there it was...... Why on earth does the US feel the need to set up some crazy bureaucracy to achieve this position?

Yep it is a great news for the US players, we must give it time and maybe in the near future poker online will come back. Maybe after the next election or so. Anyway happy for those US members because black friday really screwed up lots of people. Cheers justice prevails in the long run!

Mober, i guess the fact that US is a federal stats has good parts and also bad parts.
Unfortunately for the large majority of US players it's bad since every state need to make an online poker rule. I also think it's a matter of time but in the end is important how long is that period of time...

And the law of course works as they suits them. They didnt forbid the online poker in each state independently. They did that in the whole USA with one move. So where is the problem to reinstate it the same way again.
