Have to give a big to PokerStars...
I posted a thread on here a few days ago, saying how I'd been disconnected shortly after buying in to $20 of tournaments.. Well, after getting in touch with support I got the full amount refunded to my account within a few hours.
A day later, I wanted to play again, so decided to monitor the tables for a while first to make sure everything was working ok... It was, so I bought in to a few tournies again, only for the same thing to happen. Again, after getting in touch with support the amount was refunded to my account in full.
It's important to point out that the problems I was experiencing were not PokerStars fault, it was an issue with a BT server, yet they still refunded me without question - and I got to keep the FPP

Great stuff PokerStars
wow imagine that happening on iPoker, lol
thats why its worth to stick with big guns, or if ur really gonna play something else other than ps, you should chose some of big bookies imo, i had something like that happen to me on poker770 and well, it ended up ugly, lol. their support was so ... unsupportive, i was so pi$$ed off that i asked them to close my account. i did get something back a week or so later, but i think that i wouldnt get it if i just asked 'nicely'.
im still new to ps, registered maybe 10 days ago, so reading about stuff like this one really makes me love ps even more

Yep I love pokerstars they are always helpful and honest that why i tell my friends if something happens and you think that it is outside your control, like disconnection or somebody cheating, contact Pokerstars support and they will be glad to help in any way.

Best thing about Pokerstars is that they have a reputation to uphold and the go about it in the most excellent manner. All in all after that Full Tilt scandal Pokerstars is the only platform at the end of the day that I really trust.

I've had the same problem with Betfair poker (iPoker network) just last night. This was their fault so expecting a positive response, we shall see.
So Betfair have offered me a token of half the value of my buy-ins. Not happy, will see how they respond to my dissatisfaction. This will be the 4th time I've had to contact their support in about 2mths. Shocking, donkeys.

Stars knows what players need....they have great support and u can work everything with them. i have bad history with small sites- cashouts last long, support was slow etc U cant go wrong with FTP or Pokerstars - best sites by far far far, u can get rakeback deals and stuff in smaller sites but nothing beats FTP ( i just love FTP ) and Stars

reading yout's experience i have come up with this amazing full proof strategy for achieving supernova elite status with $100 in my account. pretty simple really: what you do is register for any $100 tourney, don't play, then submit a complaint bout crappy connection- get a refund and keep the free fpps. repeat the same process for another million times and you're good

This is a good story and fair play to Pokerstars for refunding you. There are so many stories of people being short changed on poker sites and it is refreshingly nice to read about things like this. Good on you Pokerstars and lets hope others take notice

It's nice to hear positive things about poker sites. Poker Stars probable values us as PLAYERS so they try to work with the people playing. Good luck in future tourneys.

Refunding your money for the second time while it wasnt their fault in the first place was really something, and well done for them. In other sites where it is their fault you get practically nothing, and most of the times like a freeroll for a compensation.
