Anyone have inspirational poker quotes?For me, I think Sun Tzu gave a great quote that can be applied to poker: "Appear weak when you are strong and appear strong when you are weak" Also one from Bruce Lee "Do or do not, there is no try and finnally one to get us back on earth:" "Most of the money you'll win at poker comes not from the brilliance of your own play, but from the ineptitude of your opponents."

Here is one from one of my favourite movies "Top Gun": Better to retire and save your aircraft than push a bad position.
Don't push a bad position. Very simple and applies itself to so many situations in life, be it poker, daily driving, dealing with your boss, dealing with your spouse. Don't push a bad position. Always try to operate from a position of strength.
No quotes or cliches could actually inspire me but my favourite speech of all time is from the movie Big Lebowski at Donnys funeral: Donny was a good bowler, and a good man. He was...he was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors, and bowling, and as a surfer he explored the beaches of southern California from La Jolla to Leo Carillo, and up to Pismo. He died.. he died as so many young men of his generation before his time, and in your wisdom, Lord, you took him. I love the quotes, when I wake up I read some quotes or remember some of what I heard yesterday and it always helps me in my day.
when you play poker you need to be able to manage your emotions, so that you can play effectively and using quotes to remind us of that is a good start.

These quotes are always nice to read and i think you can learn a great deal from these people.The Sun Tzu quote is very applicable when it comes to poker and you wont go far wrong if you follow this advice. I hope that any quotes you read give you all some inspiration
