I TESTIFY that in the English Language, there are only four words that end in the letters 'dous'. They are: Horrendous Tremendous Stupendous Hazardous.
There is arguably a fifth, a zoological term, 'opodous' (which isn't recognised by ipad spell checker) which means 'without feet' (as in a snake or a fish).
I didn't know this until tonight! What else have I missed out on in my life?
