The most important Thing was a solid bankroll, without this you have no Chance longterm. There are a lot of solid abc poker players and it is not easy to be a winning player and beat the rake and suckouts.

Solid bankroll can take you as far as your knowledge allows it. Having 10k means zero if you are not ready to play on a level, where having 10k is not a thing worth mentioning.
Theres a reason why isnt Warren Buffet or Bill Gates the world best high stake poker players even they could bankroll their way through plenty downswings.
This game is as about the money as is about the ability to spend that money wisely. Making good or bad decisions could be crucial if you have or have not enough dough to back it up either way, but close bankroll management is the key for both times.

The advices that Ronin gave in his post are great for all that are trying to learn the game.

To me the first and most important rule in poker is bankroll management, and more than that you should only invest in poker what do you afford to lose!

Thank you for your kind words amigo.
Would you believe that I have actually been getting negative grief from trying to help players by giving out poker tips. It is amazing to me how some people will take any opportunity to try and tear others down.
I even got a negative message left about my Blog on another forum LOL
I told that poster they was gutless.
What can I say I was in a mood.
