Let's try to build it up  0
So hello fellow mobbies all around the world today i have decided to step off from the no deposit bonus and deposit as little as $20 on the Pkr poker site with which i will try to make atleast $200 so that's 10x my initial deposit.

I will try to accomplish this goal but i have another goal set for myself which is getting better in omaha Hi poker , i already know the basics and i know how to play so now i will try to make money out of that aswell so another goal is to make $20 playing omaha hi.

I will mostly play small super speed s&g's at $ 1.50 buy-in and cashgames with $1.50 till i am at atleast a $40 bankroll Smile

will try to keep this updated with some sick hands and stats to make it more fun to read Tongue peace out y'all

_______ edit scrapped out the omaha challenge doing not too great but still have some left so let's try to rebuild it up and also i got a few tickets left Smile doing bad but will do better sooner or later

Good luck Jeffaboy.

I've learned from experience, it's never really a good idea to set specific targets. You should aim to play well, and improve... but setting a target may make you try to force things to let you reach that target... and result in you making bad plays, which with a bankroll of $20 will very quickly leave you broke.

As for Omaha Hi - A few very important pieces of advice:

Starting hands are INCREDIBLY important. Even more so than in Hold'em... only play premium hands and you'll avoid a lot of difficult, and ultimately costly decisions. Examples of "good hands" are double suited aces, two pair, and high running cards (TJQK etc)....

Only call bets on flush and straight draws, if they will give you the nuts if you hit. In Omaha, if you don't have the nuts... it's likely someone else will (which is why starting hands are so important, and why double suited aces are so strong)...

Don't raise after the river unless it's EXTREMELY unlikely you have lost. If you lose to four of a kind, or straight flushes, then so be it.... but you should never lose an all in pot against anything worse.

And finally, when you do have the nuts - GET AS MANY CHIPS AS YOU CAN IN TO THE POT, AS SOON AS YOU CAN. Do not slow play in Omaha (unless you flop four of a kind, straight flush etc....) It will always get you in trouble.

Hope this helps Smile

Hey kid good luck to you! I hope you will successfully build your targeted bankroll from these small stakes, it's not gonna be easy as first you'll play omaha hi whose variance is a fking b1tch and secondly you'll try this by not sticking to BRM so luck must be on your side...

Thanks alot for the advice really appreciate it and calmplay also thanks for the support man Smile may lady luck support you all Smile

Just had lady luck on my side as i was playing a cashgame with a $4 stack i picked up k-9 and got a cheap flop as i flopped k-5-8 i made a pair of kings knowing i might not have the best hand but a decent one i betted and the pot got a little out of control as i got raised for almost a dollar , another player called and i thought well why not so i called , turn was another king so now i'm happy with my hand and i decide to shove my chips into the pot since the pot was already like $4 with 1 person all in already , then i got called and my opponent turned K-Q so now i was like oh wow again but then lady luck smiled at me and gave me the lucky 9 on the river and finally lucked some one out instead of being lucked out all the time Smile won an $8 pot so thats about $4 profit in 1 hand Smile not bad at all even tho it was luck

nice one, just keep in mind k9 is usually not good enough for holdem, much less omaha and someome is bound to have a higher K Smile and yes you got incredibly lucky to hit one of your 3 outs, but thats poker for you Tongue

but the thing is, we dont want to be the lucky one, we want to get in as favorites and not rely on luck to win the showdown Tongue

Yep verry true i only played the hand because i was able to limp in Smile got lucky it was in normal holdem tho and yes we don't want to rely on luck but you will need it while playing poker Tongue

Interesting challenge, frankly i think your goal is definately possible, the only question is to time it takes to get to that point.

I will make sure to subscribe to your thread, i especially wait the omaha hi hands Smile

Pretty nice challenge!

I wish you the best man! I really hope u can do it.
Did u take advantange of a BRM promotion when making the deposit (Rakeback or the gift offer)???

Are u also clearing a deposit bonus??
Will your profit goal include the rakeback or deposit bonus, or it will only count the money wins at the tables????????

Keep us daily uodated!

I look forward to reading your blog on this venture. I think to play Omaha without really knowing what you are doing will be very difficult because the swings in that particular game is massive and you could go bust very quickly.I wish you all the best

My thoughts about this: busted in 10 days.
