I've been wondering what online poker with Americans would be like now if they were allowed back to be able to play on all sites and have ability to deposit and withdraw just as everyone else does, good players and also a lot of different types of fish, those with regular deposits etc. Just a thought because I think that hopefully soon they will be allowed to play and it would be a very exciting thing in poker! It would be a second boom

Besides the fact that the number of the players will increase i dont see any other changes happening, with US players anyway. You may see the USA players returning and then hear a ban for the Russians,lol.

Well if the US players return and the Russians were ban by there governament like US players were Iwill have mixed feelings one side of me is against because I believe in personal liberty but the other side will be happy to get rid of those crazy donks russians

More traffic is the obvious thing.
I just find it laughable that the US government decided to ban poker of all things. A nation of twisted logic and contradictions.
You can get married years before you can drink. You can buy a gun before you can drink - ok actually that makes sense! But you can't play poker on a website.
The crux of the issue is that I guess a large chunk of unchecked money was going through and out poker sites. And the government wasn't getting a penny from anyone making money. There's nothing they hate more than someone making lots of money and them not getting any. You see it with ebay etc - undeclared income from these ventures is illegal.
Also how much influence did Las Vegas have? It's terrible news for them if lots of people play online and not in their casino's.

I dont think that it would have any difference in the type of players on the tables just that there would be a lot more players. The days of the americans being the only top poker players in the world have gone and the rest of the world is just as good if not better
