Have any of you guys ever seen these...? (pics below)

About 10 years ago they were available in stores for about $3 - $4 each.

Every car came with a few poker chips and a few playing cards. If you bought enough of them you could build a 52 card deck and accumulate a bunch of poker chips AND have some cars to collect. All cars had green felt on them somewhere...

About 1 in 50 came with special white rims,...or a white base, or interior OR were TOTALLY covered with green felt. Those are called White Lightnings and were worth between 7 and 20 times the retail price depending on the car that was in the pack, and you could easily sell them for that,...meaning, you could get $20 - $60 US for one...

I never collected them, but if I ever found a White Lightning, I would sell it or them on eBay for a premium and make lots of profit,...sometimes as much as $50 pure profit per car...

What you can get for them now has fallen drastically and you can now get then really cheap. More often than not...less than retail...! They are easily found on eBay,...particularly on eBay.com from the U.S.

Does anybody here have any or seen them before...? Smile

Never heard of them but they look pretty good, especially the first pic that you attached!

I do not have any experience as toy collector but i know that if you buy to collect make sure to get them in the original package to keep their collector value.

In some cases that is true Macubaas, depending on the rarity and collectability of the car...

In the case of these Poker cars.... they are basically worthless...UNLESS they are the White Lightning version I mentioned...

In the end, Wal*Mart was blowing them out by the thousands for only $1.....

I think they are cool though because of the chips and cards... Smile Thumbs Up

In the case of other types of diecast (HotWheels),...I have a few that when new in the store in 1968 or later were like $1 or so,...and are now worth $200,...$400 and so on...and even more if they were in their original packages...
