These Tournaments are a great idea and it would be nice to see a micro stakes player go really deep in the main event for a big prize.Good luck to all those players who enter these Tournaments

Cheers full tilt is soft as most poker players prefers pokerstars, so playing there you can make some money off some unknown fish. Anyway good luck and have fun in the mtops, i hope you guys do well in there if you play!

erm i dont think ftp is that soft, in fact ive heard many people saying ftp is one of toughest to play at :o Not sure really as im still a newbie and just about every poker site is hard to play for me, lol but from what i could play and ftp/ps and ipoker network, i think ipoker is way softer than ftp is. And some people would even argue ps has more fishes because its the most known and all that... and stuff, not sure really.
but back to topic, any mobbits won anything big yet, playing these mtops tourneys? So far i know one mobbit won some $3k or so , what about the rest of you guys?
I had no time to play those but hopefully ima catch a few late tourneys and maybe even win something nice too

As you guys main main problems to play this big events is time.
During week I did not have too much time to try to cash something. Still a little bit far to get SilverStatus on PokerStars, and I prefer to invest my time on that.
I know there are a couple of mobster who usually play MTTs. If some of them are playng this series I wish them the best luck.
Posted by noonlion: If only I had time. But to be honest I don't like tourneys much anymore, too much time, too little payback for the effort.
I often hear something like this from folks who had hard time in the past ending up itm or in a couple final tables. The thing is mtts and sngs IMO way easier to get around than on cg and zoom (for me). Im not an exceptional player by any means nor an idiot, I just like to follow their rythm more. Yes, on average it takes more time to have your payback and in some ways its not as satisfying like making easy dough on some poor bastard on a hold'em table when you already have the nuts, but in many ways it works for me better... Since you in it for the long game, you dont want to win the game on stage two by shoving every time when you have some pocket monster and having reads on somebody who just does this making these kind of fun. Also I like the fact, that I can play these on way broader range than I would usually play on a cash table, more variance make you more adrenalin. Again, I can see why anybody would opt-out from these, its time consuming and slow (except when u play super-turbo), but 4 me as a recreational player the overall payoff its greater. I like slow films too.

Tournament can be really profitable if you have experience especially on a long run...
As always the player is very important, if you are a cash or sng player then it makes no sense to play large field tournaments like this events since most probably you'll lose money.
