It didn't work for me,...but it might work for you...

I phoned PP last night for another reason, but mentioned the glitchy software to buddy...

He said there's a fix and said how to do it:

***Update your JAVA***

Go to

Once you do that it should be fine,...but if that doesn't work, then RE-install the PP software.

Uninstall the PP software along with all the folders and/or files. Your log-in password and account balances will be retained.

Then install the PP software and away you go...

Well, that didn't make ANY difference for me... Same old glitches are re-occurring... Confused

It's just poor and shoddy software.... Sleepy

I dont play in Party Poker, but that Java is a pain. I keep getting a message
that a new update for Java is out in about a week now.
But it keeps failing to complete. So stopped bothering with it lol,
till the time that some program may need this.

They should seriously do something with their software, it is quite annoying.

If you really want to play there you can try what I did:

1. Remove all traces of PP from your hard drive. Even after uninstalling lots of files are left behind.
2. Save their .exe file onto your desktop instead of just running it.
3. Every time you want to play, do a fresh install from the .exe file which you saved
4. After you have finished playing use the "uninstall" feature on their software to remove it.

Yes it's a pain, but totally worth it IMO.

Sorry to hear that pelinimed.... Confused

Hey mahdrof,.... I'll give that a try if I can figure it out,... I'm a real dunce when it comes to that sort of thing...

Another method I haven't tried yet, but the support guy suggested was to go to the PP homepage where it gives you 2 options to play:

Download the software,... OR click on the other button and just play it out of your browser THAT way...

Are those disconnections from your side due to a bad internet service, or
due to Party Poker. Cause ther is a big difference. Being in the market
so long still having problems like that is unacceptable.
I am speaking from my last experience with them about 2 years ago.

As Pinotte says I dont have to bad problems while playing .

Sometimes trying to get to the missions records or at the achievements page there is some delay

I like playing there

And Demodawggy you are doing well there at least you got into the leaderboard ranks

Hope the problem will be solved and to see you at the tables
