The recently redesigned GPI Ranking by Global Poker Index which is based on information from the results of the players within the last 3 years, tells us that Phil Ivey is back to top 300 and is in the position 293 and also indicates Daniel Negreanu holds first place for the third consecutive week.
As data are reported that Ivey had been out of this ranking since September 2013, but thanks to their latest achievements back to top 300

I think we all know that Phil Ivey is truly ranked well above this ranking. These rankings are based on tournament results and i cant see Phil Ivey entering too many tournaments when there are huge cash games he can clean up in

doubletop777 that's true, but what I want to emphasize with this story is that the returns to talk about after that was said that was bankrupt, remember that a few months ago it was said that Ivey was bankrupt and could not play in events with high inputs. As with his last victory showed that he not only okay financially if not returned to the path of the Top.

It's true that Ivey it was not very active lately but he is great on high stakes cash games that are not tracked by GPI.
Daniel is ranked so good because he participants to almost all these live tournaments, partly also since he is the image of stars and many tournaments are organized by stars.
