Well I just went to the final table for the first time. Bwin poker $5.00 entry $500gtd. It took roughly two hours and I finished in 4/175. $63 pay out! But more than that the experience was excellent. People's strategy really changes at the final table. Things got a lot tighter. First time winning real money on poker and making final table! What a rush!
Anyways, hope everyone's luck is as good as mine was tonight!

Congrats and well done - it always feels great to get there and is one of those experiences you can't buy, unless you play sngs in which case the play is somewhat the same in strategy.

Matthew, well done on your achievement and of course your winnings. A couple of things you must now remember, if I may! Don't get thinking that every tourney you play in will end up with you at the final table, and also, give some thought to your bankroll management. Is $5 tourney entries right for you? Or will your $63 quickly be staked away with little return?

Its always something special when you reach a final table in any tournament so many congratulations to you. The sense of achievement is such that you cant wait to play again. I hope you keep your good run going and well done again
Well I made the mistake and tourneyed away my $60. Then on my last one I ended up in 3rd and won $103! Gonna sit on it for a while, not make the same mistake. WHAT A NIGHT!!!!

There is definitely an excitement when you reach the final table in a tournament, for the very first time no matter what game that is. Remember the stress the first time i was close to it and the relief when i finally made it. I could close the pc and be as much happy as winning the tournament itself at that point Wish you more luck next time, getting the first place.

Now make sure to invest the money that you won wisely, i bet that you can win a lot more if you chose carefully the next tournaments in which you'll play

Congrats mate!!!
It always good when you play good poker and get reward for that. I hope this FT be the first of many!
Also play your winnings wisdomly. Do not get on tilt and play with proper bankroll management. This would allow playing tournaments with higher buy-in in the future, and may be get also bigger prizes!
Congratulations for the results, its nice to see that people thrive on somewhere rather than the usual bitching about how they got sucked out on a brm freeroll. The thing is It often worth to go places that are under the radar in terms of number of players and recognition. Sites where the main profile is sportsbetting (like bwin above 4 example, but also Titan and Unibet etc.) have much more diverse playerpool than PS or FT or other big sites. This not necessary makes easier finishing at a good place but more recreational players usually equals less agressiveness and sometimes better results.

Hi MatthewMaze,
Congratulations for reaching the final table, mate! This is really cool! I wish you more final tables soon! But trust me, you should try live poker as well! It is indescribable feeling to play live. You have to control your emotions, your body, your face, you meet new friends from the poker industry worldwide. It is really great fun!

Haha congratulations on your win man, it is such a good feeling to be part of the final table, and in the top 3, now win one and you will be very happy. Keep the winnings safe!!
Hmm just saw you played with your $60 dollars and then won another 103 dollars lol, yea you are right you better sit out and take a while to let the adrenaline go down. Cashout the winnings so you do not play with it.
Thanks for all the support everyone! Really appreciate it. Peter7878: I am going to play some live poker. No casino in my town so I have to find a few friends that want to start a game. Jeffaboy, yeah I think that would be a fair statement. I've found it pretty easy. I actually won the $103.00 on PKR which is where I've found the least competition. Not a fan of the layout though. Don't need all that fancy crap. Heskor: I cashed out $94.00 which is a hundred Canadian and left some money in the account for more tournaments. We'll see how it goes.
