I played it... Didnt went well... I had the starting stack little bit over 10k sitting in the Button with AA blinds 100/200 from MP some guy raise 600 I reraise to 1700 and he calls flop KQJ hearts I bet 2200 and he push all in (I had A heart) so cant really think of any hands then JJ QQ but couldnt just let it go with that many outs turns out he had ATo and no help for me ----> out... FACK was so pumped to play this tournament and waiting few days for it to start... Well maybe next year when the 9th anniversary maybe then I will become millionaire Cool

anybody else had the chance to play? Smile

Well I'd love to have a pop at one of these one day but the time it takes is hard to give up for me. Also if you got 6hrs into these you can still bust with zero to your name. Not great.

Whats the straight up buy-in?

Hello,
I'm watching at a table now. The table that play FrenchDawg, the bounty, Supernova Elite, the man with the Lifetime Achivement that made over 1.000.000 VPPs. He is now on 703 / 7200.
The prize pool now is for $9.317.200. 46.586 players.
Pokerstars made from this tourney, from fee, $698.790 profit. Huge amount of money for them.
I wish i could play this tourney, but didn't had such bankroll so, yeah maybe next year perhaps.

Have a nice day / night and GL.

Wow 9 million prize pool!

I try to qualify in one $55 dollar satellite but I had no luck.
Anyway I get the ticket for that satellite thank to the PokerStars reload bonus, so it was actually a freerroll.

Let see whether yout85 had better luck.
May be cash at leats.

Well, let see if the next year I can play it!
Gl all!

...Didn't cash. Was in for around 3 hours. Just above the average when I got Aces - had to fold on the turn after the board paired and the third club came out, left me on about 5k with the blinds at 150/300. Got AQ a few hands later and pushed all-in after a min-raise from UTG. He called with pocket 8s and they held.

Just checked on OPR to see who won, and it seems it's still running....

so anyone finished in the money there? really cool to see some brm'ers giving a crack at this tourney, really amazing prize-pool and great structure- deep stack, long blind levels, just what the doctor ordered Big Smile as plexo said- already waiting for 9th anniversary of sunday million Agree

i think brm should sponsor at least 100 mobbits to the 9th anniversary sunday million, no no make that to wsop main even- we could wear brm thongs over there for added publicity for this great site

How on earth managed to gather so many participants?46.586 players are huge number for such an expensive buy in tournament despite enormous prize pool. Did Pokerstars gave away tickets from low buy in satellites?Saw one satellite which awarded 1000 tickets with 11 dollar buy in. But I don't think that made difference(1000 to 46000).Also spotted other poker sites gave tickets but not that high numbers.
So I am stuck with the question:How come the entrants were almost seven times the usual amount of entrants. Think a normal Sunday Million has 7000 and plus participants.

maybe because it was 8 times prize pool too ?D: but yea to have THAT many peple playing a $200 + tourney is... odd really

speaking of satelites, yes there were tons of satelites but most of them also had tons of people playing so maybe ps figured they made enough money via satelites so could give away some ticket for (almost) free via some really cheap satelites (like that one you mentioned $11 - 1k tickets, and stuff?).

btw those poker sites satelites you talk about, were mostly satelites for another satelite, rarely a direct entry to main tourney, so it really makes you wonder how on earth they managed to get 46k people to play hat one :o

Rumors said that behind one door of February 29th there was a ticket to play the Sunday Million.
Chuck Norris was the only one who can opened. However, to do it he destroyed the door (and whith it, the ticket as well).

Probably PokerStars did not want Chuck winning the SundayMillion, as this would have increased his legend.

Anyway, it would be nice if BRM could give a ticketd to the sunday million once ever month, so this great community could follow the chosen one in the tournament.

Gl all!
