So as marqiss and maybe a few others suggested,...I've been coinflipping my PP T$ into real cash.

marqiss said by coinflipping,...you will get approximately a 90% return because in the long run you will win 50% of the games you play.

This is true, except for the fact that I think he didn't consider the small amount of the buy in that the house takes.

For example: Buy in .10c / .09c + .01c

Is that what's called 'The Rake'...? That .01c thingy....?

So I figure the 'more' SMALLER buy-ins you play, the closer to the median of winning 50% you will reach.

Taking that into account,...I've been playing the .20c heads-up coinflips, as the take on THOSE are only .01c per .20c buy-in, as opposed to the .01c take for the .10c buy ins.

You save .01c per game played.

If you play $1 worth of games,...you net and extra .05c

I have flipped just over $33 of T bucks...into $27.72 of REAL cash...

$13.71 of Leaderboard winnings,...and

$20.00 worth of T$ I got in lieu of 2 tickets that I won.

I've gotten about 83% on the dollar

Here's a breakdown of the smaller buy-ins:

....10 .09 + .01
...20 .19 + .01
...50 .47 + .03
1.00 .95 + .05
2.00 1.80 + .20

It's more efficient to play the .20c buy-ins if you have the time,...although, it only takes a few minutes to do if you play your winnings after each tourney.

Do the math... Smile

THANKS for the tip on converting...!!!

I'm with crash 58 Big Smile

I won one of the $25.00 Gtd no rebuys, 0.10c buyin! Got $2.50 Yeahhh, boiy!! HAHA, on ten cents that is a "reasonable" return enough for me.

I am just not a fan of "coinflips" this is why we play poker, no?

I have NO clue what THOSE are... Sleepy

Where are they in the lobby over there guys...?

How many times or whatever do you have to enter or what kind of chances are there to win those...??

They sound a little more profitable than the coinflips... Smile

you find them under regular tab, they are all rebuy's with a 15K addon.I usually rebuy a couple of times then take the addon, these games are so easy to get into the money , esp for a player like you demo, you should be able to clean up. Thumbs Up

Are they the ones called '$25 Gtd Hyper Rebuy'...that cost .10c to get in...?

There's also ones called $100 Gtd Hyper Rebuys

Those the ones you guys talking about...?

What are you doing up at this time of night crash...? Smile

This sounds like a very good ROI and i have been trying to do the same thing with my tournament dollars. I didnt think about the rake back and to play on lower level stakes is a really good idea and i will be doing this from now on

I think I did though...

You are expected to win 50% of them, that's correct. So say you play 10 coinflips for $0.09 + $0.01, that will cost 10*$0.10 is exactly $1.

If you win the expected amount of 5 of them you'll be paid 5 * $0.18 = $0.90 which is exactly 90% of the $1 you spent.

The 10% rake is why you don't get even money on them (i.e. 100%).

Your result of 83% is therefore a bit under EV, but will most likely level out to 90% in the long run.

I didn't know about the $0.20 coinflips these are much better at 95% conversion rate.

But like I said initially, why waste 5% if you can play with a profit... I think you can do better than 100%, if you play MTT or SNG with them.

Just look at your BRM freeroll results. You could think of them as regular buyin games, by calculating what the buyin would be if it wasn't a freeroll.

There is a $25 prize pool. If 500 players are registered, they would each have contributed $25 / 500 = $0.05 to the prize pool. If you include rake, a game like this would cost you less than $0.06 to enter.

Now ask yourself if you add up all your results, and divide by the amount of games you played, do you earn more than $0.06 per game on average?

I think you do. In fact I think you do way better than that, so why not try these low buyin games with your T$?

Yes, but there are also non-rebuy games. A lot of them don't even reach the guarantee, so they are +EV.
