So I entered a Party Poker qualifier for either a $10 or a $100 WPT Montreal Qualifier FOR an entry into a tourney to win a $1,400 package to the big WPT live event at The Playground near Montreal...and to my surprize....
BAM,....made it into the top 5
Top 1 - 5 wins $100 Ticket
Top 6-30 wins $10 Qualifier
2nd attempt to win a $100 tic.... On the first attempt I won a $10 tic...
So Monsieur Pinotte.... I'm ONE step away from hookin' up with you at the Playground...but I imagine winning THAT won't be any easy task...! If I happen to pull it off,....drinks will be on me..., although,...I don't drink,..I'll have to settle for a glass of milk or juice...
Ultimately,....gotta thank BankrollMob for this.... If not for the Mob Draw $50 Cashout to Party Poker, it never would have happened...!!!

How many tickets do you need to buy for that? I've not entered it before.

They cost 1 Mob Point each... You can buy as many as 800 I belive it is...
You can also WIN Mob Draw entries on the calendar..... They come in amounts of 100 entries,...may 200 also,..not sure. Open a door,...and win 100 in a shot... You are automatically entered...!
When I won it...I think I had about 300 - 350 entries...!

Great news demo, you're showing who rules at the tables, that's the way mate! Good luck for you now on the next one. And you know what you have to do. Just keep playing the same way you did this time!

Cheers congratulations mate, keep going strong and you will win the first prize sooner or later. Preferably sooner of course. So good luck with the party poker freerolls, go big on them and give it your best shot. I will be watching the threads, to see if you manage to get it. Even if you do not. The experience will help you, and I am sure of it.
Cheers have fun at the tables and good luck with getting the prize!!

Thanks gents...!!! Sure was a surprise winning THAT...! I'd REALLY like to get to play in a 'live' tourney for some SERIOUS money... I need to buy me a new house...!!!
Makes me a little nervous though,...getting the ticket is one thing,...but actually winning a package is a whole other thing... Looks like a long gruelling tourney to enter... Long 20 minute blinds against good players...!
I was watching the entrants list dwindle away last night... At least if you don't win the package,...still a good chance of winning some money.... anywhere from $25 - $65 as a consolation prize...
Maybe I'll bump into crash in one of the $100 qualifiers,...that'd be interesting....!!!

Demo......sounds like youre having some fun and great outcomes here and here's wishing you all the best for future attempts..... It would be a terrific feeling to win a live tourney ticket/package from little investment.... It has and can be done.

Nice one there demodawggy. But you dont drink at all? Not even in special occasions ? Do you use another method of fixing up? or you are always "sober" I dont think i can imagine myself being every single day sober

Thanks damosk and Mober....!!!
Nope,....don't drink... but not TOTALLY don't drink... I'll have an occassional glass of wine or a few shots of Bailey's with Christmas dinner sort of thing...!
...but when it comes to weed,....DIFFERENT thing altogether.... I likes me doobies...
If I ever went to Greece though,...I'd certainly want to sample your home made Tsipouri...

Just tried to nail another $10 qualifier after playing a sub qualifier for 3 1/2 hours+ and won a ticket into the $10 tourney....
I waited until the very end of level 10 (late registration) Turned out to be one of THOSE games where all your primo pockets gets beat by JUNK... ... and all the JUNK you folded turned out to BE the knutzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
Don't know how I got to 10th out of 61 players... One of those poker mysteries...!
