Hey guys,
I am a new PKR player, I have old account there but never played. So, after reading some positive threads about PKR here, I decided to play seriously. I am amazed that after my first deposit of $10, they gave me more than 10 freeroll tickets and 1000 points. I didn't use a bonus code, because my account is verified and if I win something serious I will cashout immediately.
Yesterday the Card Room of PKR emailed me that I have another ticket for $3000 Club PKR Depositors Freeroll B which starts today at 20:30 EET. That freeroll has very strange system of giving the starting stack of the players. I never seen anything like that before.
If you have deposited $10 like me, you receive starting stack of 1000 chips for that freeroll. So, I have 1000 chips. But I see players who made a deposit of $230 and they have starting amount of chips 23000.
There are registered players for that freeroll with 15000 chips, which means that they have deposited $150, some have 10000, so they have deposited $100. I have never seen anything like that before. The other poker rooms doesn't use systems like that.

Well, I must say I don't have so many chances to survive in that freeroll, because only 4 registered players for that freeroll (one of those players is me) have 1000 starting chips. There is a huge difference between starting a tournament with 20 000 chips and starting a tournament with just 1000 like me.
PKR made an interesting stacking system awarding players with chips for that freeroll. Can you imagine, if you deposit $1000, you will start that freeroll with 100 000 starting chips. They have created nice marketing system for players to deposit huge amounts of money, don't you think
Anyway PKR seems to be a nice place. No such winning ridiculous hands like PokerStars for example.

It's good that you decided to playa t PKR, it's indeed a really nice poker platform.
As promotions, number of players and type of hands you get this poker site is pretty similar to 888poker if you ask me even if they are not operated by the same company.

I also played in this one, but unfortunately busted short before the bubble. Nevertheless the maximum deposit which will count for the chip stack is $200 = 20.000 chips. Gold+ members get an additional stack of 3.000 chips, so the maximum is 23.000 chips to start with.

Good luck in the freeroll peter hope you do well, keep an eye on those free tickets, because they do expire, after 1 month I think, when I made my first deposit there, they did the same with me, but because of the time some of the freerolls were played, I could only play them on weekends, and I'd have to get up early,I ended loosing tickets because they expired. So good luck and let us know if you win big.

I've been receiving info from PKR about this, but unfortunatelly i'm now playing on a laptop that doesn't meet the requirements to have this room working I already installed it but when i was going to open the game... bang! An advice telling me the bad news!
