Hi, i agree with the freezout and a big stack, but about the initial stack, i have a different opinion from pochui. I think we should either start with 5k with 5 min blinds, or 10k with 10 min blinds. 10 min blinds can seem too much for those, like me, who are used to play turbos and stuff like that, but the truth is, if we reduce the time with stacks so high, we will be creating a big gap between those who win fast in the begining, either with (almost) bad beats or bad luck from the opponents, and the others who will keep playing tight. If you put 5 min blind with initial 10k, i bet that, after 15 min of tourney, someone will have more than 60k chips, many will have 25k, and most of the field will be in the 5-15k range, which is a big difference. If the blinds have more time, people will think better about the hands they will play and the management of the stack. It will be like a pratical class!
Is seem to remember that a while back, the Christmas home game finished with a few people in the top 10 that sat out the whole game, because the blinds were so slow.
This 5k/10min structure will probably have the same problem. Then again, I believe that it was a freeroll back then, and with a $1.10 buyin it's less likely that someone is sitting out...
Anyway, hope that this won't happen this time, since it's kind of embarrassing when it does...
its a good structure better considering the amount of players plus like pouhi says you have the time to play your stack whitout forcing you to go high very fast

well i like the point marqis raised here, i had this in the back of my mind as well, therefore i really think that big enough stack with quicker blinds should do the job, but said that and can repeat this once more (to be sure my post qualifies for 10 mobpoints) - this home game is not about making cash, it's just a great opportunity to meet regular mobbits and have a great time

brm easter home game 2014 will take place on p(.)(.)kerstars and everyone who is a member of "the rigged place" home games club can take part in it (assuming they have an extra $1.10 for the BI sitting in their account). tourney will take place of the 19th of april @ 20.00 gmt (saturday, day before easter). official thread will be opened on april 1st, and you can find all the info there.

Great work Pochui! I just wanted to say good luck with all the administrative work which you will got to do. I don't know what we could have done if you were not here! We will be lost without you!
But seriously, BankrollMob has to pay you salary in MobPoints at least twice a year, for the Easter Home Game & for the Christmas Home Game because you put so much efforts and you are so devoted doing all this. To be honest The BankrollMob staff has to do all this organization, but they left that work for you through the years, so it is logical that they have to pay you salary in MobPoints!
BankrollMob don't close your eyes! Just pay the necessary salary of Pochui for doing all this work! He is doing his best and he deserves motivation for his efforts!
I voted for freezout- 5k/10min. Good luck all! See you soon! I hope to finish 5th like I did at the Christmas Home Game.

aloha there Peter- first of all i must say that i appreciate your idea and i perfectly understand that you only wish for the best...BUT (there always must be BUT for some reason...well at least not butt) brm already do more than enough for us by: giving the chance to earn money by participating in the forum, side games, ndb's, excellent xmas calendar and so on...remember that they also support our xmas & easter home games for the 2nd year running with cold hard cash...kudos to brm and admin add to that the fact that it's not realy a hard job i'm doing here...then again if brm do feel the need to pay me a biannual salary of $1 million mobpoints...i have nothing against that...and you know what Peter? i would actually share this with you by sending you ~186-187 mobpoints for your efforts.

It doesn't happen often, but I have been giving some thought to the structure and the potential for sitter outers to play their part in the game. Surely there won't be many, especially with the buy in. So my suggested approach would be, they have bought in, if they sit out and win something then that is a reasonable return on investment for their gamble. It happens in every other game so we should cherish the brashness of those who buy in and cash in and just enjoy the Home Game experience.
