3333 vs 33444  0
Hey Mobsters,

This is my story from today! Yesterday I won a $5 cash games ticket from FullTilt Poker. I have to make 125 FTP to release the ticket, I have 7 days to do it, so I started to play but very tight! Still I have $5 ticket + $3.75 real money.

That Russian player probably felt very bad because look what had happened:

At the flop he raised $0.30, I called, at the turn he went all in, I called and BOOOOM, the river comes and showdon 3333 vs 33444. Big Smile

I must admit that guy played his hand very well and correctly! I mean who would fold full house? And who would have thought that someone could have four of a kind!

That winning hand helped me to register for the Micro Millions 067, $75K guaranteed with buy in $1 which starts today 18:30 EET with late registration 60 minutes, rebuys - 90 minutes.

Good luck at the tables! Thumbs Up

Best Regards,
Peter7878

If the ticket you are mentioning is the same like the ones i have in mind you dont need
to play for it in 7 days. It expires if you havent play at all for 7 consecutive days.
Once you do the expiry get transferred for 7 more days. Check it out to see if it works
like that, cause it will take some pressure out for sure.

I've had this happen, but with 2 full houses 66699 vs 99966, looks like you nhave the winning hand and then boom, the cards show, and I was on the loosing end of this one. when it happened I just couldn't believe it. it's like today 2 players go allin, on the flop player A hits 2 pair, turn card player B hits bigger 2 pair, on the river player A hits fullhouse. amazing, just couldn't believe it if I didn't see it. Yep,....very nice hand there.... There's just NO way Vladimir there isn't gonna fold a full house, which pretty much guarantees you a HUGE win...!!! Dollar Dollar Dollar

I had the same thing happen to me in a Facebook $5,000 monthly tourney a few years back,...but I was on the bad end of THAT hand having my QQQKK clobbered by dude's KKKQQ, in a HUGE pot full of other player's chips too who had all folded....!

Good luck in your MM tourney...!!! Smile Thumbs Up

The full house thing happens a lot in Omaha - I've folded full houses in Omaha because I've had, say, 777KK with 77 in my hand and KK on the table. I'm sure I've folded to bluffs a few times, but I've called and lost to the KKK77 too many times. Holdem is rarer though.

lol - Omaha is different - you've got to (supposed to) have the nuts. Sometimes you can bluff or get lucky with bottom pair a low flush - but you are chancing your arm if your opponent is betting hard against you and you have straight 9 to K or a J flush when there is a possible AKQ or any pair on the board for the FH.

------------
.....although don't take my advice - lol. I may be up overall over a few years, but not by any large amount and it sure feels like I am a stupid donkey half the time. Especially when I bomb out of tourneys early or even look at a cash table.

Thanks vic75. That happened on FullTilt Poker. Now I got a similar situation!

This is the sort of hand that plays itself. He flops the second nuts and you flop the nuts, the perfect cooler. There is no other way to play this hand and it just comes down to old fashioned bad luck to lose. Still pretty sick though!!

very nice setup Smile

theres really no way of escaping that hand :/ it happened to me a few times too, but i was (usually) on the losing side. it was afew months ago but i still remember losing with AAAQQ fh to quad Q's Tongue

but those hands are so rare its not worth brainstorming, or thinking about them for too long. if you are afraid to play 2nd nuts, well you shouldnt play poker really so when it happens to you (and ur the guy with fh, unlike now) just move on and dont think about it too much Smile

Your opponent may have become crazy when he saw your hand and if he went all in after flop he didn't play bad- but too tight - but I somehow always remember of the possibility of someone having the type of hand you had. Even if you had only one3 I have seen three of a kind at the table so many times after seeing a pair at the flop that I tend to be always aware for that kind of "movie".
