How did you do in that game in the end?

I took the $2 I made, joined a $2 deep stack game (my favourite).

I cashed and was going well, unfortunetly it was 1am and I fell asleep. Cashed for $10.

Should/could have been more, but better than nothing and now I have a new BR on party poker!

I was out not long after you for $5, shoved with a high pair as I was getting a bit short stacked and lost the coin flip. Haven't used it yet, but will be handy. I will probably use it for a 7 card stud or Omaha game. That is a good Freeroll that though ain't it? The low numbers and good prizes make it pretty cool. Smile

I need to rebuild my PP BR. I cashed quite a bit the other month (a few hundered $$ Smile ) after a really good start to the year for me on Omaha Hi/Lo and stud games, $1 and $5 buy ins and below.. I got excited, read up on a load of poker strategy to try to improve my game and started to bust out.... lol. Maybe I'll go back to my ignorance and win more... . I think I am improving though.. i might stick to Holdem for a bit and try to improve at that... been learning more about positional play and understanding it all better. Well see if I can resist the urge to just coin flip high pairs more... Obviously it can be profitable, but it can be straight out also.. lol. With most freerolls there always seems to be a bit of coin flipping argie bargie going on in the opening stages... Most of the time I get sucked in with this and bomb out... sometimes it works my favour and I get in a good spot. Espescially if you watch for a bit a see who has been getting lucky and who has been playing good hands. Blink I probably should be more patient at the start of these games and grind up more rather than coin flipping too often. You can get carried away and get too cautious though... I nearly folded a full house, tens over kings the other day to a large stack in the later stages of a tourney.. I was convinced he had a king for kings over tens... he had bluffed a few times, but hey, that's the game.. when I called (I actually raised all in as I was pretty committed to the pot by then) I can't believe he called me with something like 9-7... lol.

Anyway - I hope there are more of them social media freerolls - they are really good. Smile GL.

...... I'm not learning... I've bombed out of about 5 freerolls early today, 2 near the money going all in with KK and 1 with AA. Might have to use that ticket... I think I play better when I've paid for the game - sometimes get reckless otherwise as it doesn't really matter.

Cheers - nearly forgot about that one. Entered. See you later... in the later part of it hopefully. Blink

I gave up on the freerolls and won about $3 from a £1 ticket I got before... was a messy omaha game, but at least I got in the money this time. I just seemed to fold every time they were bluffing and called them when I didn't quite have the nuts but they did.. Had my chances though - should have just shut down for a while when I had a big stack really - but it gets so tempting to push further in that one, it's cheap entry and the top prizes are pretty good. better luck later I hope.

$0.50 omaha hi/lo $100gtd starting soon with not many players in it - I'll try that for a bit untill starting the freeroll. Bit of a lottery that hi/lo but can pay well if you get a good run. Smile
