Hey mate for more information about the freerolls click on headboards near the top of the site. Macubaas just gave you a link. go there and you will find all the info you will need! Demodawggy also gave the useful links so not gonna give it again.
Anyway summarily you get points depending on the prize you win and the pokerstars freeroll usually goes on for 3 months or so and the top 200 can participate in a special freeroll for the top 200 players. Also there are many players there so playing on full tilt might be a better choice. It is softer. good luck hope i was helpful!
