If I ever get to the french riviera again the last thing I would want to do is playing some cards. Im not sure, but Nadal probably lives in Monaco for tax reasons as many other tennis pro, amiright? There you go, now its totally makes sense to calculate odds in a dark room instead going outside to bath in the sun. He could do it every other day.
Brazilian football legend Fat Ronaldo is playing cards too? I wonder how many zeroes has he lost at the poker tables in Madrid and Italy when he played there.

This should be very interesting to watch and i am looking forward to reading about the outcome. Rafael Nadal seems to know his way around a poker table but playing against Vanessa will be very difficult
Is Nadal opted in on sharkscope? I wonder what his graph would look like... I can't imagine he's a winning player, considering the professionals he's up against (or is this match an exception?).
Against Selbst, he could win the odd match, but he must be a huge underdog in this one.
this should be good match. rafa surprised me ,he plays poker well. altough not like tennis but he is very multi talented i guess good luck to both,it will be a lot of fun

It seems he exclusively plays cash game... unless he plays under a different screen name... but I doubt that.
The only recorded tournament for him is the Sunday Storm a couple of years ago... He didn't cash.
For reference, I'll make a thread with a bunch of celeb's poker names - could be interesting to some people...

If it waa tennis Nadal would probably win 2-0 and 6-0 in each set I presume anyway this will be a nice match up by looking how nadal play against a professional poker play. A must watch encounter so do not miss it. As usual i will be supporting the underdog that is Nadal here, which is rare Cheers thanks for the news!

I don't think that rafa nadal will win against selbst. It's true that he won a charity tournament (he just got lucky) but this time it's HU vs the best female player So i don't think that he will get crushed by selbst, a high stake player vs a recreational nadal

If we analyse this heads up carefully we easily realise Selbst has got all the odds on her side. I think everything will be decided either too quick for her or in any lack of concentration Nadal can use in his favour against her. But if I would bet in one of them it would for sure be on her.

One nice thing about this is that there will be no moaning, groaning, squealing, and grunting like someone's trying to stick tennis balls up the players' butts...
Tennis is a great sport,...but I just CAN'T handle all the sound effects coming from the court...!
