Well i got 3rd place in one of the freerolls tonight with 1572 runners, and i got myself $2.53 to the leaderboard. It should have been more but for a mad russian,i'm in 2nd place with JJ in the bb, sb who was 3rd calls so i raise x2 he calls again, flop comes 664 safe enough i think so i bet all in he calls with 23o,wtf. Anyway turn is a 10 and then the magical river 5,i'm crippled and out a couple of hands later. Still not too bad as that will push me back up the leaderboard.

Really good finish for you but to lose in the way you did must have had you on tilt. Some of these players make these calls without any reason and i think that it comes down to boredom for some people. Great result, shitty way to lose!!

nice one havent played those freerolls for ... well since last leaderboard ended, i kinda forgot about it
but in reality all it takes is a few final tables finishes to get into top 200, so i guess i could still play a few here and there and still hope for something :x

@ demo thanks for that, aye 2nd is the bast i've finished too and no i've not met Vic yet
@ doubletop,i think he probably had had enough although i'd have waited for something a bit better myself. @ theapple, aye that's what it's all about top 200 and top 30.
@ddbit, that's what you've got to do if you want to get onto the leaderboard mate.

Seems like well spent time.
Divide your poker career total earnings by the number of hours you've played poker, and look at the number you come up with... I bet there are precious few of us that get a decent hourly wage from that calculation, and most will even come up with a negative number.
For me winning freerolls or micro stakes MTTs is not about the money, leaderboard or otherwise, but simply for the enjoyment of playing and doing well.
@teddy: congrats on a great result, and good luck with the leaderboard!

Wow congratulations mate, a win is a win so glad for you and keep up the good work mate, hopefully you will win some more and get a firm hold on the first place on the full tilt leaderboard.
Just a few more wins and you will get a considerate advance and will not be able to get caught up by other players. Cheers, another question, are you keeping the freerolls money in your bankroll or using them as soon as you won them?
