Guess who managed to won entry to the Sunday Storm 3rd Anniversary!
Altough I made it through the mission week for an entry in one of the all-in shootouts (tomorrow), I knew I didnt want to leave it up just for my luck to win a ticket, so I started to browsing for satellites.
I played the PokerNews Sunday Storm 3rd Anniversary Free.roll (the ratio there was - 10k players for 100 tickets), the FlopTurnRiver SS 3rd Anniversary tourey with $1.10 buy-in (317 players for 78 tickets) and a special tourey for hungarian players only (10c buy-in! - best investment I ever had - in there were 90 players for 10 tickets). I won my ticket in this last one, so I invested less then two bucks (for a return to a glorious SS anniversary coupon worth 11 bucks) and got a chance to bore my ass of tomorrow night (nice overlay, deep stacks, 10 min. blinds) with this and the other one I will play (a Skrill free for a San Remo package or some cash).

It was really a very good investment for such a ticket, with 10 of them for 90 entrants. Now all you have to do is to be in one of your best poker days so far and win one of top prizes. That of course means a lot of luck too. All the best tomorrow.

I dont know about that. If I playing a tourey that is important to me Im either gone by the first two stages or manage to end up real deep. Not only that, but Im not used to having MTTs with a buy-in over 5 or 8 bucks nor with a player pool that contains 50k-60k people. We will see. If more forum regulars will be there, we should consider doing a live thread. Maximize the fun.

gj, 10c qualifier for $11 tourney... now thats something
havent played today at all (other than 1 10c sng by accident lol) so im sure there were some other really tasty satelites, not sure at what time does this one start... who knows if im in the mood to play tomorrow, i might give some of those satelites a shot too.
now go and win the whole thing. or at least finish 2nd and split. making to final table is meh, so big diff in prizes from 9th to 1st, so dont disappoint us and finish 9th please.

The other one with the $1.10 buy-in had a better player/ticket ratio so obviously I expected to manage sailing smoothly on that one but every hand of mine (premium or not doesnt mattered) got busted so badly - and I took small/middle sized bets for average pots on rainbow boards so it wasnt a 'pushorfold' festival - therefore I ended up as a shortstack early, then pushed with A4s...
If you play tomorrow try to opt in with one of the Mission Week All-in Shootouts (you need to enter the star code then make some vpps) they have around a ticket with every 20-25 entries ratio.

You are right, they cant be turn into $T. Neither the one I won today. They are simply entry coupons.
I didnt want to leave it up for luck to get entry in da shootouts (altough I would have cough up the buy-in directly too, if none of these came together) but I didnt played any serious MTTs in a long time and even though the 10+1 buy-in is a bit more than my average stake I couldnt resist the urge to try it this time (I know its on every sundays, but the annyiversary ones are always special, innit?)...

Good luck in this tournament mate and i hope you can post an update tomorrow telling us how you did in it. To get through to one of these is always exciting and with it being deep stacked you can sit back and wait for good hands

My All-In Shootout ended with me saying goodbye as 18760. looser, so I was totally right yesterday trying to get my ticket at a satellite. (It cost me $1.10 + $0.10 to get into the tourey worth $11, so it was more than alright decision to sacrifice my - overall p.okerless and outgoing - saturday night)
Now we have one hour 'till the start, I'll probably play like a nit until the late reg lasts... we will see. If anybody have got some interesting hand then make a copypaste into this topic.

At first break. I havent got many playable hands besides this one and an AhQc with that Im back at 4065 chips. Trying to defend my blinds, nothing much. Probably playing as a nit until next break cuz the amount of openlimp at my table is truly disturbs me.

hold 5 place after half hour,collect 30 k,,,i feel good,but this is like freerolls,to much players,over 80k,but its ok!i gat trough sattelite 10 c buy-in
