i just won a $27 entry to the omania omaha hi/lo tourney on stars It cost me 66c as i didn't take or need an add-on or a re-buy,happy with that. The problem is i don't know whether to take the money or play in it,i've got 50 mins to make up my mind. Decisions,Decisions

If you have experience playing the specific game, then i would suggest you go for it. You have good chances to get in the money in such tournaments. Not so many if it is a no limit one Either way if you decide to go in, good luck with it.

I like Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo.. I'd play it I recon. lol. When my bankroll starts to build I usually have the odd flutter on a $10 or even a $20 buy in Omaha game. I know you are not supposed to, but sometimes I can't resist it. Have done alright out of some.
Im sometimes playing at the 1.10 buy-in (22:35 CET $500 GTD), the players pool might be different here (tighter I guess), but its still a Hi/Lo FO with a late reg, so in your case a simple ITM will be a sweet deal.

Well i took the money and tried another satellite,bombed out of that but i also entered the the big $4.40 which i'm still in so i'm still up $20 i'm happy with that.

I hate Omaha hi/lo. I keep forgetting that is is different than normal Omaha and kept thinking I was winning with a fullhouse yesterday in a 8 game freeroll. Silly me.

yeah i would have gone for it too. It is a chance and you managed to get 20 dollars out of it. anyway congratulations on getting the ticket to the 4.40 and the managing to get some money out of it. Keep up the good job, maybe tomorrow will be a better day with more profits. Just keep playing and learning about poker and you will have the cash rolling in sooner or later. Cheers!

Congrat. for you winning and everbody that are good at playing this game. I tried it a few time and i am ver bad at it and just hate the game and will never play it again.
Congratz, i dont really get that hi/lo but still turning you 60cents in 20 dollars is a great victory. Smart to cash out and play something else while still ending in the plus, i mostly do the same with satellites.
I know you are not supposed to, but sometimes I can't resist it. Have done alright out of some.
