Flopping quads is always a great feeling to have, although I don't see many quads these days. Stupid bluff on the river when you obviously had a better hand once you re-raised PF but that's what you want from players like that.

Well might have done it with a suited ak as well, the preflop raise I mean, but still not worth bluffing his entire stack on the river.

well yea those shoves all out of nowhere are pretty much him telling u 'i missed my draws go away' but it does work from time to time though Smile that said he could still bet a (lot) smaller and fold on reraise, which would leave him with playable stack.

but many people do that with air, its the only way to win that hand i just dont think that was the right place to do it, considering how small intial pot was (compared to his bet size) and most of the time, shoves are only going to get calls from better hands. good for you though Tongue

Yeah if he shoves you have to know if he is bluffing or getting tired of you pushing him around. But guess he did not see the quads coming to hit him hard on the face. Well played mate getting a flopped quads and that is why we play pocket pair to get quads not trips. Big Smile

Also congratulations on the quads and for being able to get the maximum stack out of the villain , cheers i would have been sad if my quads did not get paid, glad yours did. Anyway cheers and happy Easter and have fun at the tables!
