Just finished up a 18 man 1.50 $ buy in NL Holdem.

Crazy thing was i a massive chip leader with about 5 to go.

Then i make the money and start donating large amounts of chips to my remaining oppopents. I mean big.

So eventually it 's down to three wit hme in third and end up down to my final 375 chips compared to about 15k & 12 k roughly.

So a few double ups later and I'm back in this thing, then within a few hands i had knocked out the third place finisher so we're down to heads up.

Back and forth so close to winning on so many occassions and then i score the victory.

I can remember pulling off this type of comeback only one other occassion.

Any one else with a story to tell about Being down to there last few chips and making a run to win or cash. Let's hear them stories boys and girls.

yea , when ultimatebet was still around I was playing the $1500.00 gtd $5.00 buyin, at the first break there was 420 players left, I was 420. after 5hrs of play I finished in 1st place and won just over $500.00, then that nite they had a $2500.00 gtd $10.00 buyin at 8pm, I played that one for over 6hrs,I was drinking at the time, and had a little toooooo much, when I woke up I had to ask my wife how i did, she said 1st place, so I checked and won just over $600.00 Worship

Nice one there irish, congratulations.
crash no need to say that you made a mistake there with all that drinking while playing poker.
Good thing that you still remembered next day that you were playing after all.
Its just a couple of clicks starting playing with your cash like that and going broke Smile

Yep been there a few times and I love it every time I do it once again because I go through several emotions in a short span of time and this make my heart tingle and my whole body. lol, it looks like i am talking like a gambling addict. Anyway it is a good feeling in the end but devastating if you loses because you know you was close. Anyway congratulations and have fun at the tables mate!

I personally do not played that many tournaments so for me it never happend, your comeback was pretty spectacular to say at least Big Smile

Still, on such a position you need tons of luck to be able to double up so many times and win the tournament Smile
