I played in a 44c satellite to this last night,48 got in and 49th got $3.20. Well i was in 47th place and i decided that i didn't want to play the tourney,i had 8-4 off and i went all in i got 1 call and i hit a 4 it held and i went through . Then to the tourney itself, i have never struggled so much in a tourney no playable cards for ages and when i did get a few chips i lost them one or two hands later,i kept persevering and eventually i got ITM i don't know how but i did ,then i managed to win a few hands and got up to 14,000 chips which put me in 800/930,i figured i had to try and double up so next Ace i was going all in then i got A-Q all in i went and got called by a big stack (80,000) with K-J he hits a J and i'm out,but really what a struggle that was at least i got $10
Congrats, I usually going for the $2.20 in late night or the $3.30 at the morning cuz I found them easier to crack, but it's a nice finish considering you didn't even want to play.
Yesterday evening I played some $1.25 satellites (10 man - top2 ticket - 3rd place $1.45) for this, cuz I figured out it's a nice way to make some constant $T - which I did manage, then fell out the main one with a nice series of setups and rainbow boards before the first break.
I'll play again next time when they increase the prizepool like last week...

Sometimes just plain old dumb luck can help you go a long way. I wouldnt like to play like it all the time but sometimes it is just fate and you just get lucky. Well done for cashing and you must have played well up to that point anyway
