OK - So I had to catch the last bus earlier... last one goes at 2.15 from where I live. I decided to play the first hour and a half of the brm FT freeroll... my plan was to be aggressive and tight and try to push up to about 15 to 20K chips quickly before having to go and catch the bus.... sitting out the rest of the tourny to see how deep into the money I would get from sitting out..
I started pretty well sat out with about 12K chips. I went out and missed the smegging bus!! Came back after some lunch and saw that it was bubble time and my plan had worked... I still had plenty of chips... Of course... I couldn't resist getting involved again and blew my sitting out plan and went out with about 7 cents shortly after the bubble.... what a donkey. lol. If I had caught the bus I reckon I would have been on for a much higher position by not playing at all - lol.
Makes me think... come the £200k game.. if I get a good start I might just sit out and go down the pub. lol.

You would have scored more money if you had sat out. But a single big win in a final table for example pays more than multiple small ones. So if you are going to play often in a specific tournament its not bad aiming high and taking the risks. Good luck in your next tournaments.
