Its never a nice feeling when you go bust but i like your outlook on this and i hope you can make your bankroll grow when you start back playing again. Its always nice to take a few days away and then come back all guns blazing

It's ok really. The way I look at is I've played almost three years of poker for £40. That's pretty good value if you think of it as entertainment rather than a money making attempt.

Thats not funny, but perhaps it can be given you new motivation to rebuild a bankroll. With a little challenge from zero to X in combination with a no dep. bonus and with some freerolls you can build a roll without risk and you can use your experience from the last years. GL!

If it is any consolation, if you graph your winnings/losses over this period and exclude rake from the losses, you're probably actually a winning player.. Meaning you're better than the average, you're probably just falling slightly short of beating the rake..
Further to this, I would wager that over the last three years, rake/fees have in general risen, whereas bonuses, rakeback, etc... has declined.. As such, it's quite possible you've still actually improved as a player, even though you've run through to zero, simply because the cost of playing has increased and the benefits of playing have decreased.

gl zero, yea its never fun to go busto but at the same time some people use it as motivation to become even better player, you know, not to go busto next time around
still when you think about it, 3 years of rage over bad beats, erm i mean 3 years of entertainment, for just 40 pounds, its a sweet deal isnt it

Just a very long downswing playing mostly on stars and Party. I did the right things started playing lower limits, reverting to DoN's and STT's but it just didn't end before the bankroll did.
------------ Just found 87c hiding in my Winner account. All is not lost, all I have to do now is spin it up to $100 and I'll be back on track.

Posted by zeroster: Well it was probably going to happen eventually but for the first time in almost three years I now have a balance of $0.
Regroup, rethink, wait for payday and start again.

That's a really nice gesture Ronin, thanks. I'd rather it was a loan and not a gift though. Although it is 3 weeks until payday so you may have to wait that long. My name on Stars is grucas.

G'day mate
The money has arrived in my account already. You do realize that I did not even care about getting it back at all. I was just trying to help out a fellow mobster who I know would do the same for others. If you need the money back for your bankroll just ask mate. Wishing you every success. be cool

Yeah I realize that Ronin but it's important to me to pay it back as soon as I can.
Long time ago I screwed a lot of people over with my, then, bad attitude to debt. It felt sh1t and I never won't to go there again. So now all my debts are always paid ASAP.

well that was a nice reading bout some mobbits who pissed onto the forum rule "#i have no idea what" and showed that there are really great examples of trust and happy-endings in this forum. you are the best Ronin, you're not too bad either zeroster (although that cannot be said about your poker skills )

nice one Ronin mate, You see there are still some good mobsters in here who are willing to help out other mobsters,i'm still shocked by whet peter did but actions like Ronins make up for a lot of the bad chit that goes on.
