90 minute level are a lot of time, but the comeback from the bubble to the chip leader from Mr.Hicks are verry good. But every Player of the last 17 have the chance to win this great final ept event.

He was dealt pocket jacks late in the night and flopped trips against another deep-stacked opponent's pocket kings, and the rest is history, as they say."
He could go to make a country album with a name like this. KK vs. JJ is 80-20 - he was lucky indeed, but he'll be lucky one time out of every five, no biggie.

The bananas thing is, for a pro to make 20k+ on their investment looks like a disappointment. But for any normal person that's a years salary. I wouldn't mind being that 'disappointed' on a regular basis. Well, nice chip stack for the leader, who knows who'll win this one.
The thing about why you shouldn´t play just for the "cashing places" in the tournaments is, that you can´t make a long term profit by playing like that, for a profit it is best to play for the win. This applies if you are a regular MTT player who plays thousands and thousands of tournaments. If you are a recreational player who has for example won a ticket for a tournament, there is nothing wrong if he plays it more carefully around the money bubble, because there is not the long term effect present. That means if he played the correct way (for the win) he would bust more often before the money bursts, but the times he would get past it, he would have more chips and therefore a bigger advantage in later stages = bigger chance to win the whole tournament. Better thing for such player is to play carefully and wait for the mincash.
Making 20k on his investment could look like much for the average cardplayer, but if you count all the neccessary expense he will have to pay, it's not that rainbowy after all. Taxes, travel fees, accommodation, BI for other tournaments etc. He is making money while he is constantly loosing money. It's a goddamn pricey lifestyle. That's about it.

The competition was at its best. If it was planned to have the reduction of 41 to 18 players solved in one day, these guys just showed they weren't playing for peanuts and they would have enough strenght to sit on one of those last chairs...
