Was playing a freeroll (still playing while writing) and used one of my favorite strategies which work 85% of the times I guess. When you know he misses the flop, low cards and he raised preflop, you should just check the flop, turn, and river and wait until he bets.
He will bet a lot of times and it may be clear that he bluffs. You bet around 4x his bluff-bet and he will fold, you pick up a small but nice pot.
Obviously he can just slowplay it and call/raise your raise, but that occurs not as many times as he will bluff, so it is very profitable.

This will cause anther thing: he will bluff you less from now on. And I think that's a good thing.

Maybe it doesn't work if you're playing at high/medium stakes, I never played that level YET Blink

You have to have a strong read, that the player is bluffing (or a strong hand Tongue ),

because most times people will have really strong hands (or being completely crazy).

You just need a read. Big Smile Big Smile

yep i love playing at the lowest stake because you can find those kind of plays and I profit from that. But sometimes you have to play higher to get more experience and be able to play comfortably in that limit. Anyway nice read on the opponent , i'm sure it is thanks to experience. if you played more at higher level, you could see other patterns too lol.

Cheers have fun mate and crush those fishes!

I would really like to play at higher stakes but I now learned that you should just take risk too go from low to medium stakes. I'm going to invest akmost my total bankroll and play some tourney's with it to hopefully make enough money for those tables...
