Well i had a bit of luck last night,i was going to post last night but i was too tired as it finished late. Anyway it was party poker nlhe $1500 gtd rebuy 421 entrants and i didn't have a rebuy or add-on. entry $1 After 5 hours i reached the final table,i had a few scares along the way ( JJ beating AA,AK beating QQ ) but eventually i got there and it felt good as it's been a while i was actually 2/9 when we hit the FT but there wasn't a lot between 2-5,i looked at the payouts and with 6th place getting $41 i wanted to at least get that,so i was a bit tight for a while and waited well 2 went out and i was 4/7 then another woo hoo i made it to 6th time to push on now, i got back up to 2nd with 4 left then the big stack took another one then i took out 3rd,heads up great!!! (sorry i can't remember all the hands ). Heads up and the big stacks got over 3m i've got 900,000,bit of a job on here but i caught him and i was actually in the lead when it happened about 2m for me and him just under that, i get Ah Ks in the bb he raises to 360,00 i re raise to 700,00 he calls ( i think thats how the betting went ) flop Ks 2d 7c i bet he called turn 8c i go allin he calls and turns over KcQc river was 9c.... i thought i had won and then i saw the clubs, sht i was crippled and it went next hand so there you go i was nearly in the winners circle but not quite. Still VERY happy with $140 although the $225 would have been sweeter,oh well maybe next time. Oh, i am laudrop1873

Congrats, those were a very nice 6 hours spent playing poker with only $1. Ok, so you could have done the $225, but $140 is already very good, you should feel very happy for that achievment!

Wow nice win mate, i love it when fellow mobsters are doing well and you are one of them, keep playing the big tournaments and one day you will get that sweet jackpot and you will no nned to play poker anymore and can live for the rest of your life with the winnings. Anyway happy for you and great that you have time to play for those hours. I cant play long anymore due to work.
It has to be a great feeling to win an month salary (at least in my country this is an aboveaverage salary), I would like to experience it one time as well, but probably won´t, because I am not playing multi table tournaments with big prizepools (and big buyins).

Not bad at all when you consider it was a spur of the moment thing. I think you highlighted and revealed what most plauyers never do when they come and brag about winning a tourney or making a big cash - you mentioned the times you should have lost or at the least weren't a favourite. These happen to most every player who wins a tournament but hardly anyone ever talks about them.

G'day mate
Congratulations to you on the 2nd place finish. I too was there at the final table last night I however unlike you was merely an observer for a time. Did not play in the tournament as I slept through the start. Hope you take down another one very soon. best wishes to you. be cool

A great run by you in this tournament and congratulations for doing so well. It was a cruel way to lose that big hand when you were heads up especially when you thought you had won the hand before realising the flush hit

Congratulations on your win. Very good return for that 1 dollar. The difference of course is significant between first and second but you got unlucky. Better luck next time with a first place finish

Gratz for this verry nice winning! A winning of 140$ bucks in a tourney with only 1$ buy in was great and give you a lot of Motivation to play more rebuy tourneys and the chance to win another big price.
