Hey everyone, just tried one of these again and I finished in the top 100 out of 400, doubled my buyin and this is my 2nd time trying and managed to make it through it.

Any opinions on these?

I love these timed tournaments because the thought of playing for hours on end is sometimes off putting and these tourneys offer a way of playing a tournament without committing to being there for hours on end

I never tried them but i really like to idea if you ask me! The long hours of play and sit is what i do not like on regular tournaments.

On what poker sites they are? Are on 888 poker, since only there i have money now...

definitely good format Thumbs Up no need to say (but i will, since if i don't i risk this post becoming too short to qualify for 10 mobpoints) that they are very good when you have a limited amount of time. one downside that has stopped me from playing more of the is the fcukin turbo, almost hyper turbo structure- you just can't cruise safely and end up with say 1/3 or 1/2th of your stack even by folding most of the time...

The format is really fast, there is almost no room for proper play.

I think it is more for recreational players.

I like time tournaments and you can site back when it is reaching the clocks, i used to play freerolls like these with play money just to get used to all sorts of tournaments and it is fun. You get super nitty guys when the clock is running down or as we all know when we are near the bubble anyway good luck in those tournaments if you playing. Need some more time. So play the timer if necessary!
