I will start with two examples a player win a pot with Q8 the next hand i received Q8 as my pocket cards the other one i have 88 call a little raise flop come AK2 one bet b4 me i fold next and I receive AK as pocket cards one all in B4 i again fold. This happen to me many many times receiving cards that won the hand before. Do you peoples have noticed the same.

Nah that's just random/variance I mean it'd mean it would have to happen to others too, however 9 people can't have the same hole cards, what you expirienced was just random

Nah, once you notice something like that it starts to seem like it happens all the time. It's just because you're looking for it, but you're completely disregarding the times it doesn't happen.

It is surprising how often this seems to happen. I have lost count of the amount of times i have wished that i had this hand the previous hand. I think it is probably not that much of an occurance but it just seems like it

Hi guys,in response to ddblt1970--I think that is not a fair answer to give as we do not know anything about Pinotte and he may have just started getting into his poker and maybe, just maybe,he thought a poker forum was a good place to ask a poker based question. I know this particular question was not going to make it into the next Phil Ivey strategy guide, though it could go into next "101 things you wanted to ask about Poker but do not have a poker forum to ask"book but maybe it was a question that had puzzled him for many weeks, maybe he wanted to chat with other poker players, maybe he just wanted 10 points.Give him a chance without bringing "stupid" into it. When I first read this thread I didn't think 'this is rubbish',I thought 'Wow,for a 70 year old the punctuation could be better' but then I thought maybe he is French Canadian,in a hurry or,as I am frequently, drunk. As John Lennon once said "give Pinotte a chance". Back to the thread---Are you the only what?

Hmm i think you associating random probabilities to outcomes that are just random. It is a gambling syndrome like saying the ball has not come out on black for the last 7 spins and you bet on the red spin because they have not come out in the last 7 spins. At the end of the day it can still be either black or red because the probability will be the same and it is just a random event not connected!
