Was just about to say the same thing. In fact, if you have the nuts and are last to act, technically you're obliged to.

I cant remember seeing such hand before. So you got yourself a Royal Flush Smile
But you should have placed a big bet there,
if not all in. You cant imagine how many times i have seen players folding in a shared win.
I always bet. Nothing to lose

In a tourney maybe, but I doubt anyone would make a mistake like that.

I've seen similar things in cash games; where the board has the nuts, and the other player goes all in, which when called would cost both players money because of rake.

Usually you can't fold, because it is even more expensive than taking the hit from rake, and even in the rare situations where the rake would exceed the money you've already put in the pot, very few players would fold (even though it has better EV than calling).

So in cash games I would not bet when the board has the nuts, unless you think your opponent is smart enough to calculate whether folding would be cheaper than calling or not, and you've made that same calculation yourself. I don't believe that would happen enough to make it profitable (since it can only happen when the pot is small).

A royal flush on the board of any suit?
20/52 * 4/51* 3/50 * 2/49 * 1/48 = 0.00000153907 or 1 in 649740

The first card can be any one of the 20 broadway cards, the second card must be one of the four remaining broadway cards of the same suit, etc...

Thats awesome, i never saw a hand like this before to be honest, you should have made a print screen Smile

It's rare but not impossible, so as in life, if something can happen, it will happen lol

What was the buy in of this mtt?

If it was in a tournament, you should have made a big bet, maybe a multitabling opponent would fold.

Very rare situation indeed. Big Smile Big Smile

The other day there was 4 A and a 3 on the table 3 people shove thinking they have won, I think they forgot about the 5th card well all except the guy with the king { the winner }. Well it was a freeroll and 2 of them were Russians.
